Abstract In this work, two novel pyrimidine‐cored covalent organic frameworks TpTap‐COF and TpTan‐COF were synthesized for the first time used adsorption of heavy metal ions in aqueous solution. Both COFs are nanofiber clusters with preferable crystallinity thermal stability. Utilizing softly confined self-assembly at the water surface represents a promising approach for fabrication of two-dimensional molecular monolayers (2D MMs), which have predominantly been concentrated on amphiphilic organic compounds before. Synthesizing high-crystalline covalent organic framework films is highly desired to advance their applications in two-dimensional optoelectronics, but it remains a great challenge. Here, we report diffusion-limited synthesis strategy for wafer-scale uniform films, which pre-deposited 4,4′,4″,4‴-(1,3,6,8-Tetrakis(4-aminophenyl) pyrene encapsulated on substrate surface with layer of prepolymer. The polymer not only prevents the dissolution precursor, limits reaction terephthalaldehyde dissolved solution, thereby regulating polymerization process. size depends growth substrates, and 4-inch have been synthesized silicon chips. Their structure, thickness, patterning crystallization degree can be controlled by adjusting building blocks chemistries, molybdenum disulfide used as substrates construct vertical heterostructure. measurements reveal that using photosensitive layer, heterojunction displays enhanced photoelectric performance, simulate adaptative function visual system. preparation high quality crystalline (COF) without contamination controllable thickness desirable optoelectronic applications. authors COF patterning, based adjustment precursor block films.

Covalent organic framework (COF) film with electrofluorochromic (EFC) and electrochromic (EC) properties has been synthesized by using triphenylamine-based monomers. The exhibited a high maximum fluorescence contrast of 151 when subjected to drive voltage 0.75 V vs the Ag/AgCl electrode, causing be quenched, which resulted in EFC process's "fluorescence off" state. switching times for on off states were 0.51 7.79 s, respectively. Abstract Memristors are essential components of neuromorphic systems that mimic the synaptic plasticity observed in biological neurons. In this study, a novel approach employing one‐dimensional covalent organic framework (1D COF) films was explored to enhance performance memristors. The unique structural and electronic properties two 1D COF (COF‐4,4′‐methylenedianiline (MDA) COF‐4,4′‐oxydianiline (ODA)) offer advantages for multilevel resistive switching, which is key feature computing applications. By further introducing TiO 2 layer on COF‐ODA film, built‐in electric field between COF‐TiO interfaces could be generated, demonstrating feasibility utilizing COFs as platform constructing memristors with tunable states. nanochannels these structures contributed efficient modulation electrical conductance, enabling precise control over weights circuits. This study also investigated potential COF‐based achieve energy‐efficient high‐density memory devices.
