Abstract Photogenerated radicals are an indispensable member of the state‐of‐the‐art photochromic material family, as they can effectively modulate photoluminescence and photothermal conversion performance radical‐induced complexes. Herein, two novel metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), [Ag(TEPE)](AC) ⋅ 7 / 4 H 2 O 5 EtOH ( 1 ) [Ag(TEPE)](NC) 3H ), reported. Distinctly different topological networks be obtained by judiciously introducing alternative π‐conjugated anionic guests, including a new structure (named sfm first reported in this work, describing 4,4,4,4‐c net. EPR data UV–Vis spectra prove mechanism. Dynamic photochromism exhibits tunability wide CIE color space, with linear segment from yellow to red for , while curved coordinate line resulting colorful emission blue orange. Moreover, photogenerated TEPE* activate near‐infrared (NIR) effect MOFs. Under W cm −2 808 nm laser irradiation, surface temperatures photoproducts 1* 2* reach ~160 °C ~120 °C, respectively, competitive NIR efficiencies η =51.8 % 36.2 ). This work develops feasible electrostatic compensation strategy accurately introduce photoactive guests into MOFs construct multifunctional materials tunable behavior.

Abstract Stimuli‐responsive programmable materials exhibit remarkable potential for smart applications due to their ability attain multi‐stable states through structural adaptability upon guest molecule removal or exchange. However, achieving designability remains challenging, particularly in maintaining the crystallinity single‐crystal‐to‐single‐crystal (SCSC) transformations and ensuring tunable activation. In this study, it is demonstrated that SCSC between an empty monoclinic framework triclinic can be manipulated stimuli combining various activations molecules. Reversible switching facilitated by MeOH adsorption heating‐induced transformations, whereas H 2 O alone cannot directly induce transformation. Instead, must first adsorb N,N ‐Dimethylformamide (DMF) molecules form a new DMF‐adsorbed subsequently undergoes mild activation yield framework. These interconvertible frameworks differ photothermal conversion performance selectively cause discoloration of CuSO 4 ·5H dehydration. The construction of functional cyanometallate clusters connected by secondary bridges is a highly sought-after area research in chemistry and materials science. Our investigation has led to the discovery three novel compounds, {[(Tp*)Fe(CN)3Co(bpy)]2(μ-CA)·4MeOH}n (1), {[(Tp*Me)Fe(CN)3Co(dpa)]2(μ-CA)}n (2), {[(Tp*Me)Fe(CN)3Co(bpy)]2(μ-dhbq)}n (3) (Tp* = hydrotris(3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl)borate, Tp*Me hydrotris(3,4,5-trimethylpyrazolyl)borate, H2CA 2,5-dichloro-3,6-dihydroxy-2,5-cyclohexadiene-1,4-dione, dhbq 2,5-dihydroxy-1,4-benzoquinone, bpy 2,2′-bipyridyl, dpa 2,2′-dipyridylamine). These compounds were synthesized via self-assembly reaction [(TpR)FeIII(CN)3]− building block, Co(II) salts, chelating ligands or dpa, followed addition benzoquinone dianions. X-ray crystallographic analyses revealed that 1–3 exhibited similar structures, where cyanide-bridged [Fe2Co2] squares are benzoquinones form one-dimensional chain. Magnetic studies demonstrated ferromagnetic interaction between Fe Co ions but an antiferromagnetic benzoquinone-bridged Co–Co pairs. Notably, 2 3 displayed metamagnetic behaviors with orderings below 4 K.

In this paper, a polynuclear heterometallic compound (H3O)[Al3Ni4(OH)6(MBA-NO2)6(H2O)6] (Al3Ni4, H2MBA-NO2 = 2-hydroxy-3-methoxy-5-nitrobenzoic acid) with seven-star disk metal core has been synthesized by the solvothermal method. Al3Ni4 good stability in water and several organic solvents, its solid powder shows photothermal effect under 980 nm laser irradiation, temperature can reach 138.8 °C within 100 s 1.0 W cm-2 power irradiation. Considering effect, evaporation of was measured. It be further used as material seawater evaporation.
