Photocatalysis
provides
a
sustainable
and
environment-friendly
strategy
to
produce
H2O2,
yet
the
catalytic
efficiency
of
H2O2
overall
photosynthesis
(O2
+
2H2O
→
2H2O2)
needs
be
further
improved,
especially
in
absence
additional
cocatalysts,
photosensitizers
sacrificial
agents.
Here
we
find
that
hydrogen-bonded
organic
frameworks
can
serve
as
photocatalysts
for
under
above-mentioned
conditions.
Specifically,
constructed
donor–acceptor
framework
exhibits
high
photocatalytic
activity
photosynthesis,
with
production
rate
681.2
μmol
g-1
h-1.
The
control
experiments
theoretical
calculation
revealed
structures
not
only
accelerate
charge
separation
transfer
but
also
optimize
reaction
pathways,
which
significantly
boosts
photosynthesis.
This
work
insights
into
design
development
efficient
A
series
were
developed
production.
These
materials
are
shown
facilitate
pathway
toward
H2O2.

Abstract
Two
dumbbell‐shaped
building
blocks
(TMB
and
TMBT),
featuring
methyl
benzoate
groups
as
hydrogen
bond
units,
are
selected
to
construct
heterostructures
of
HOFs,
aiming
achieve
multiple
functions
including
white
luminescence,
stimulus‐response
behavior,
well
application
in
information
encryption.
TMB
molecules
self‐assembled
form
a
flexible
HOF
(X‐HOF‐8)
p‐xylene,
containing
solvent
channels
blue
fluorescence.
Upon
removal
guests,
it
can
transform
into
nonporous
crystal
with
gray
In
contrast,
TMBT
forms
guest‐free
(X‐HOF‐9)
displaying
orange
They
could
bulk
heterojunction
(BHJ)
HOFs
energy
transfer
from
TMBT,
exhibiting
composition‐dependent
fluorescent
color.
Notably,
emission
be
achieved
BHJ
converted
fluorescence
upon
guest
removal;
subsequently,
is
restored
re‐capturing
guests.
Furthermore,
rod‐like
triblock
(THJ)
also
constructed,
which
exhibit
regulatory
behavior
response
gaining
or
losing
The
unique
luminescent
characteristics
stimulus
responsiveness
these
make
them
an
excellent
platform
for
applications
anticounterfeit.
