Abstract Most of the transition metal ions are toxic and their removal from water is important. For this purpose, nearly monodisperse spherical core shell microgel particles with diameter 88 ± 3 nm have been synthesized by free radical precipitation polymerization method characterized fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), dynamic light scattering (DLS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Extraction copper under several conditions pH, content concentrations was undertaken. Several adsorption isotherms were tested to explore process on particles. Kinetics examined pseudo first order, second intra-particle diffusion Elovich models. Copper adsorbed in region reduced nanoparticles. The hybrid used reduce organic pollutants such as 4-nitrophenol (4NP), methylene blue (MB), methyl orange (MO) aqueous medium. value order rate constant for catalytic reduction 4NP, MB, MO found 0.602, 0.831, 0.874 min −1 respectively. resultant system can serve efficient catalyst numerous other transformations.

In the current study, we introduce a hybrid magnetic nanocomposite comprised of curcumin (Cur), iron oxide nanoparticles (Fe3O4 MNPs), melamine linker (Mel), and silver (Ag NPs). Initially, facile in situ route is administrated for preparing Fe3O4@Cur/Mel-Ag effectual catalytic system. addition, advanced performance to reduce nitrobenzene (NB) derivatives as hazardous chemical substances were assessed. Nevertheless, high reaction yield 98% has been achieved short times 10 min. Moreover, was conveniently collected by an external magnet recycled 5 without noticeable diminish performance. Therefore, prepared privileged substance NB reduction since it notable activity.
