In view of cost, electrical conductivity, and environmental friendliness, copper-based heterostructures are suitable alternatives to toxic ruthenium-based materials in a variety applications, such as catalysis, biological imaging, energy conversion, storage. The primary hindrances limiting energy-storage performance with irregular sizes, shapes, compositions. Here, we introduce three-step strategy synthesize CuS2@Cu7Se4@NC hollow heterostructures, starting from Cu2O nanocubes proceeding through two anion exchanges carbon coating step. Taking advantage the synergistic effect structures, as-synthesized exhibit an excellent electrochemical when utilized supercapacitor electrode, achieving high specific capacitance 660 F g–1 at 1 A good rate capability cycling stability (retaining 72.6% its initial after 4000 charge–discharge cycles). By coupling commercially activated (AC), asymmetric device was constructed (CuS2@Cu7Se4@NC//AC) using KOH-PVA electrolyte, which delivers elevated density power 599.7 W kg–1 reasonable (77.6% retention, cycles 10 g–1), suggesting wide range potential uses for electrode supercapacitors associated applications.
