Abstract Background Biogeography has been linked to differences in gut microbiota several animals. However, the existence of such a relationship fish is not clear yet. So far, it seems depend on species studied. most studies microbiotas are based single populations. In this study, we investigated from three wild populations two-banded sea bream Diplodus vulgaris (Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire, 1817) determine whether its diversity, structure and potential functionality reflect geographic origin fish, at large small geographical scale. Additionally, explored host- environmental- related factors explaining Results We showed that taxonomy differ varying degrees depending spatial scale considered. At scale, observe greater distances between correspond taxonomic microbiota, but functionality. On other hand, scales, different composition diversity according characteristics habitat occupied by fish. Specifically, identified presence Posidonia oceanica benthic as predictor both diversity. Lastly, reported enrichment functions metabolism xenobiotics (i.e. drugs 4-aminobenzoate) population indicate target future monitoring. Conclusions With confirmed importance investigating using multiple populations, taking into account habitats individuals. Furthermore, underscored use biodegradation an alternative means monitoring emerging contaminants Mediterranean

Variations in stratospheric ozone and changes the aquatic environment by climate change human activity are modifying exposure of ecosystems to UV radiation. These shifts have consequences for distributions species, biogeochemical cycles, services provided ecosystems. This Quadrennial Assessment presents latest knowledge on multi-faceted interactions between effects irradiation change, other anthropogenic activities, how these conditions changing Climate results variations depth mixing, thickness ice cover, duration ice-free inputs dissolved organic matter, all which can either increase or decrease Anthropogenic activities release oil, filters sunscreens, microplastics into that then modified radiation, frequently amplifying adverse organisms their environments. The impacts combination with factors such as warming ocean acidification considered micro-organisms, macroalgae, plants, animals (floating, swimming, attached). Minimising disruptive critical world's rivers, lakes oceans (freshwater supply, recreation, transport, food security) will not only require continued adherence Montreal Protocol but also a wider inclusion solar radiation its studies and/or models under future global climate.

Abstract Intense use of coastal resources and construction new marinas to expand the tourist industry might result in developing water marine environmental quality due pollution, noise, species disturbance, harming aquatic ecosystems fisheries. By considering roles played by fisheries output, development, energy input, economic growth, governance, population density during 1990–2022, this research aims explore dynamic influence tourism development on sustainability sector 27 European nations. The findings study, which used Method Moments Quantile Regression (MMQR) with fixed variables, revealed a considerable adverse impact consumption growth across EU27 area. In particular, show that all quantiles, is more substantial EU13 nations than EU14 developed countries. At same time, had significant negative countries at most recent quantiles. relationship between governance (across quantiles) was also favorably significant. Notably, have beneficial medium it discovered increased sustainability. Results has To safeguard achieve sustainable blue our results provide policymakers insight into how support using effective environmentally friendly technology.

This Bibliometric study examines literature relationship overall context economic development. The bibliometric tools VOS Viewer version 1.6.19 R Bibliometrix were employed analyze 104 publications selected via Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses diagram. results suggest growing interest subject need broader collaborative research, fully understand these dynamics. Major contributions come from Spanish, American, Chinese, Mexican authors, focusing sustainability, anthropogenic impact, physical characteristics, quality. In conclusion, provides overview current landscape, identifies trends gaps, encourages international collaboration better understanding issues context. our work very important knowledge, it should be recognized that analysis is made only based Scopus-indexed literature. restriction highlights necessity future do more comprehensive integrated analysis. array sources will thus definitely enhance joint academic knowledge lead inclusive and, therefore, higher-quality discourse.
