Electrospun membranes (EMs) have a wide range of applications, including use as local delivery systems. In this study, we manufactured polyurethane Tecoflex™ EM loaded with bismuth-based lipophilic nanoparticles (Tecoflex™ EMs-BisBAL NPs). The physicochemical and mechanical characteristics, along the antitumor bactericidal effects, were evaluated using breast cancer cell line methicillin-susceptible resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). Drug-free EMs NPs had similar fiber diameters 4.65 ± 1.42 µm 3.95 1.32 µm, respectively. did not negatively impact human fibroblast culture, indicating that vehicle is biocompatible. increased 94% more in size than drug-free EMs, BisBAL enhanced hydration capacity. highly against both S. MRSA clinical isolates, inhibiting their growth by 93.11% 61.70%, Additionally, decreased viability MCF-7 tumor cells 86% after 24 h exposure 70.1% within 15 min. Regarding mechanism action NPs, it appears to disrupt membrane. conclusion, constitute an innovative low-cost drug system for postoperative wound infections.

Detecting ovarian cancer at an early stage is crucial for enhancing patient outcomes, underscoring the demand efficient and non-invasive detection method. Cancer antigen 125 (CA125) a vital biomarker in detection, there pressing to develop quick, sensitive, simple Nanobiosensors are increasingly being used by scientists due their high selectivity sensitivity, allowing swift precise of wide range biomarkers. This study aimed design fabricate electrochemical nanobiosensor that could accurately selectively detect CA125. The employed graphitic carbon nitrides, molybdenum disulfide, polyaniline (g-C3N4/MoS2/PANI) stabilize aptamer strands on modified glassy electrode. aptasensor was perform labeled CA125, utilizing methylene blue label-free ferrocyanide methods. Ferrocyanide limits were determined be 0.196 U.mL−1 blue, with linear 2–10 detection. results showed electrode exhibited towards CA125 superior stability compared other biomolecules. also displayed impressive performance when analyzing serum patients healthy people. These findings hold significant promise future investigation diagnosis. novel may aid management cancer, ultimately leading better outcomes.

Abstract The interfacial aspects of fiber composites are widely favored. Here, three composite strategies based on hot‐pressing, electrospinning, and impregnation PA6 fibers presented for the preparation fiber‐reinforced thermoplastic polyurethane (PA6/TPU) composites. morphologies electrospun fiber/matrix interface mechanical properties PA6/TPU investigated. Under optimal conditions, tensile strength, Young's modulus, toughness H‐PA6/TPU respectively 29.45 ± 1.477 MPa, 47.28 2.61 38.03 1.996 MJ m −3 . E‐PA6/TPU 28.03 1.411 73.81 4.16 24.12 1.265 , respectively. I‐PA6/TPU elongation at break is ≈240%. ABSTRACT Improving the mechanical properties of novel prosthetic heart valves is key to facilitating application biological valves.
