Abstract The adoption of environmentally and socially responsible practices, particularly in the form low‐emission supply chain management (LESCM), has become increasingly vital for businesses globally. Renewable energy‐oriented LESCM practices are effective tools proactive leading manufacturing organizations, making them enterprises. In this context, our research focuses on understanding how implementation by companies may indirectly impact firms' financial success, through facilitating blockchain technology (BT). Furthermore, we investigated BT reducing business operating costs improving business's environmental performance. To answer these questions, have used survey data from 189 Bangladeshi firms, a developing country facing unique challenges opportunities realm sustainable practices. Through rigorous analysis robust statistical methods, substantiate hypotheses, shedding light positive associations between adoption, performance, cost reduction, sustainability.

ABSTRACT This study examines the consumer response to (1) pricing and discounts, (2) packaging design, (3) sustainability‐enhancing technology apps on special offers before maximum shelf life expires. A survey of 303 consumers currently living in Germany supports relevance these factors. Consumer attitudes toward sustainability moderate relationship discounts as well that responses. Most notably, by consolidating identifying factors influencing food waste at retail level influence behavior into a holon flux, we introduce concept holons embedded context feedback loops waste, taking sustainable development perspectives. The study's exploration flux highlights need for future research focus varying levels granularity divergent industries, which could enhance precision applicability diverse cultural business contexts strengthen stakeholder engagement.

This conceptual study explores the alignment between servitization—a shift from selling products to offering services—and circularity principles. The introduces institutional confluence—a configuration of pressures that enhance business model legitimacy stakeholders and facilitate operational success— which can serve as a driver aligning servitization with circular Institutional confluence has capacity trigger novel models, shape resources processes, value capture, inhibit unsustainable models. develops concept underscores role in promoting this subsequent environmental sustainability. article utilizes illustrative case examples models develop serving sustainable servitization. offers strategic insights for managers policymakers, emphasizing need holistic approach integrates outset design. Purpose The purpose of this study is to investigate whether public governance quality (i.e. control corruption and voice accountability) corporate strength environmental committee existence) are influential in stimulating supply chain transparency how these two characteristics interact enhancing transparency. Design/methodology/approach Our investigation draws on a sample 25,096 firm-year observations affiliated with the manufacturing industry 50 countries executes country-year fixed effects. Findings We find that corruption, accountability positively associated transparency, supporting institutional theory. Furthermore, committee’s existence related sustainable confirming upper echelons moderating analysis rejects complementary effect but supports substitution effect, negative role between Originality/value No empirical has drawn an international (1) explicate worldwide adoption (2) link green or (3) affected by interplay institutions management committees. ABSTRACT Sustainable Supply Chain Management (SSCM) principles and practices contribute to achieving the Development Goals (SDG). However, role of Life Cycle Thinking (LCT) tools how they can strengthen achievement SSCM‐oriented SDG has been little explored. This study aims review literature that intersects themes SSCM, SDG, LCT investigate in SDG. The dynamic capabilities (DC) perspective is theoretical lens understand organizations sense, seize, reconfigure resources address challenges changeable environments as sustainable supply chains require. The cyclic process of the circular supply chain (CSC) involves many stakeholders, and how to synergistically promote active participation different entities in CSC practices complex context interacting factors is an important condition for moving towards low-carbon sustainable development realizing economic benefits as well competitive advantages enterprises. Therefore, based on technology cycle perspective (recycling, remanufacturing, refurbishing, repairing, reusing), this study combines text mining bibliometrics identify drivers, establish a factor prioritization assessment model, construct comprehensive framework set implementation pathways covering multiple subjects multidimensional interaction mechanisms. results emphasize that most critical drivers are policies regulations, resource use efficiency, consumer awareness attitudes, with contribution rates 5.1%, 4.5%, respectively. On basis, paper explores efficiency-enhancing path strategy synergistic by from perspectives four key CSC. It puts forward policy recommendations successful at level mechanism construction specific operation, provide theoretical guidance cooperation upstream downstream subjects.
