Purpose Successful digital transformation requires a change in organisational structures, processes, capabilities and competencies. Digital research is more influenced by the technology adaptation model hence focuses on people's attitudes, behaviour abilities. Abstract Automakers' transition from a linear economy to circular (CE) in response sustainable development‐oriented regulatory and competitive pressures is challenging process that requires innovative, practical technologies. However, Industry 4.0 (I4.0) technologies are an important part of the CE for environmentally friendly companies. In this study, we examine whether pressure (RP) (CP) toward sustainability motivate firms implement I4.0 CE, along with mediating effects environmental orientation (EO). Abstract The intersection of Industry 4.0 technology (I4.0‐Tech) with sustainability (SUS) remains largely unexplored, particularly due to its interactions supply chain visibility (SCV) and circular economy practices (CEP). To fill this gap, our study empirically examines I4.0‐Tech's impact on SUS through SCV CEP. We utilized structural equation modeling test the hypothesized relationships using data from a survey 344 medium large Chinese firms. empirical findings support indirect role I4.0 SCV, I4.0‐Tech enables real‐time material product tracking for SCV. Abstract The past decade has seen the rapid emergence of research on Big Data and its implications in our society, yet impact organizations' sustainability challenges is still at an early stage. Based organizational learning theory, we develop a framework to investigate effects capability (BDC) further intellectual capital firm's sustainability‐oriented innovation performance (SIP). Using multi‐source data collected from 358 Chinese firms, tested proposed hypotheses using partial least squares‐structural equation modeling (PLS‐SEM) fuzzy‐set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA). results show that BDC positively related SIP economic (EIP), mediated by capital. fsQCA reveal three configurative combinations, is, “external capability‐internal resource promotion,” relationship building help,” collaboration compensation,” can lead high SIP.
