Jatropha dioica Sessé (JD) is a plant from arid and semiarid zones of Mexico related to local therapeutic uses possible use in food agriculture as control agent pest organisms that helps reduce impacts on the environment, human health resistance by phytopathogens. In vitro bactericidal activity was evaluated with well diffusion method doses 1000, 2500, 5000, 7500, 10,000 20,000 µg mL−1, fungistatic agar dilution (500, 1500, 2000 4000 mL−1) Pseudomonas syringae, Botrytis cinerea Fusarium oxysporum using hydroalcoholic extracts J. root completely randomized design five replications. Strongyloidiasis represents a public health problem in tropical and subtropical regions. The medicinal plants demonstrate the potential of as source molecules with helminthic activity. In this research, we assessed five extracts medicinally used Mexico against Strongyloides venezuelensis third-stage infective larvae (L3). Plant methanol (MeOH) Argemone mexicana (chicalote), Jatropha dioica (Sangre de Drago), Lippia graveolens (oregano), Thymus vulgaris (tomillo), Kalanchoe daigremontiana (aranto) were prepared by maceration technique. toxicity was evaluated human red blood cells hemolysis test monkey kidney epithelial (Vero cells) using reduction 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay. addition, showed their antioxidant 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) method. methanolic A. mexicana, J. dioica, L. graveolens, T. exhibited significant activity L3 cultures at 72 96 h post-incubation. None hemolytic effects on or Vero cells. demonstrated strongest activity, an EC50 19.80 µg/mL. MeOH study promising anthelmintic effect vitro, making it suitable candidate for future research nematocidal therapies.
