The assembly of protocells into prototissues represents a significant step forward in mimicking the hierarchical structure and complex functions biological tissues. This review explores construction various protocell models, including lipid vesicles, polymer proteinosomes, membraneless coacervates, emulsion droplets. It examines range chemical physical methods employed to spatially organize these structured, functional prototissues. Furthermore, highlights distinctive properties prototissues, such as their ability facilitate intra- inter-protocell communication, exhibit collective behaviors like oscillations deformation, promising applications biomedicine.
