The transition to sustainable energy has given biodiesel prominence as a renewable alternative diesel. This review highlights the development and optimization of solid transesterification catalysts, contributing greatly efficiency synthesis. These heterogeneous catalysts are constituted titanium-, zinc-, bio-based systems significant advantages such reusability, thermal stability, ability be synthesized from low-grade feedstocks. Recent advancements in structural optimization, with nano-structured titanium dioxide having potential yielding higher production up yield 96–98% within 5–7 cycles, render improved stability catalytic performance. Several characterization techniques, Brunauer–Emmett–Teller method, X-ray diffraction, temperature-programmed desorption, instrumental these their effective design. However, despite substantial promise, there still problems dealt large-scale production, regeneration, service life catalysts. account collates recent innovations, analytical mechanisms, prospective directions which elucidate furthering technology chemicals.

Abstract This paper presents a simple and rapid method for synthesizing monoesters (un)symmetrical diesters using rotary evaporator under reduced pressure, with diol or diacid as the starting material. The involves straightforward dehydrative esterification reaction between carboxylic acids diols by efficient water removal evaporator. approach offers several advantages, including fast, high yield, ease of operation, scalability, making it an attractive alternative to traditional diols/diacids. A series were synthesized utilizing this protocol. purity structure products verified through spectroscopic techniques. versatility allows synthesis diverse range esters, providing robust platform generation prodrug candidates tailored pharmacological profiles.
