There
is
growing
evidence
that
several
social
determinants
influence
mental
health
outcomes,
but
whether
or
not
community-based
prevention
strategies
are
effective
in
intervening
on
these
to
improve

synthesised
the
state
of
knowledge

review

inclusion

285
original
studies,
147

51.6%)
from

Two
focussed
children

people,
with
remainder
based
working-age
adult
populations.

financial
insecurity
welfare
advice
largest
number
(N=4),
followed
around
isolation
support
(N=3),
housing
regeneration
initiatives
(N=2).
Results
across
all
highly
heterogenous,
most
consistently
supported
effectiveness
addressing
outcomes.
