Equisetnm arvense plant extract was used for preparing amorphous SiO2. For of SiO2/zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8) nanocomposite by solvothermal method, the synthesized SiO2 added to synthesis mixture ZIF-8. The photocatalytic activity SiO2/ZIF-8 investigated systematically degrading crystal violet as a cationic dye under UV light irradiation. photodegradation SiO2, ZIF-8 and samples 13.7%, 25.6% 75.6% during UV-light irradiation 15 min. Among (SiO2, SiO2/ZIF-8), exhibited highest improved stability compared pure As evidenced from SEM TEM images, particles without aggregation located over enhancement is due fact that introduction insulator in composites can modify surface state composite; more importantly, energy level help accelerate separation transfer electron-hole pairs photocatalyst did not show any obvious loss five cycles, which indicate heterostructured stable be repeatedly.
