Abstract Background Social isolation and connectedness are social determinants of health that have demonstrated effects on cancer‐related outcomes. These constructs been systematically evaluated among pediatric older adult cancer populations. We aimed to assess the role of weight stigma and social support in depression, anxiety, loneliness controlling for sociodemographic clinical variables. A total 189 adults with overweight/obesity were included. Participants recruited from outpatient clinics by general practitioners which covered all regions Slovakia.
