The energetic performance of hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane (CL-20) was modulated with two coordination polymers (ECPs), [Cu(ANQ)2(NO3)2] and [Ni(CHZ)3](ClO4)2, in this study by a two-step method. First, tannic acid polymerized situ on the surface CL-20 crystals. Then, [Ni(CHZ)3](ClO4)2 were hydrothermally formed CL-20/TA, respectively. Explosion tests show that impact sensitivity coated structure CL-20/TA/[Cu(ANQ)2(NO3)2] is 58% less than no energy decrease. On other hand, CL-20/TA/[Ni(CHZ)3](ClO4)2 can be initiated low laser 107.3 mJ (Nd:YAG, 1064 nm, 6.5 ns pulse width), whereas cannot even 4000 energy. This shows it feasible to modify introducing CPs certain properties, like high insensitive, laser-sensitive, etc., which could prospective method for designing insensitive materials future.

In this work, the anion nitrocyanamide (NCA–), as a cross between dinitramide and dicyanamide anion, was investigated building block in various energetic materials. Apart from nonenergetic complexes, only use ionic liquids has been so far. Consequently, focus work on synthesis of coordination compounds (ECC) involving tetrazole ligands well nitrogen-rich salts, which includes not ammonium but also hydrazinium, hydroxylammonium, triaminoguanidinium. During formation particular put possible adducts with nitrogen bases. This proven help IR NMR spectroscopy. The complexation resulted two silver(I) nine copper(II) were studied terms their geometries properties. Each compound checked purity using CHNO elemental analysis. some cases, X-ray diffraction experiments carried out to become clear about final composition. Thermal stability measurements differential thermal analysis (DTA) and, for selected substances, thermogravimetric (TGA). sensitivities toward impact friction determined according BAM (Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung -prüfung) standard methods, together regarding sensitivity electrostatic discharge. Hot plate hot needle tests conducted every metal salt complex, whereas detonation parameters calculated EXPLO5 code.

In this work, a copper-based coordination polymer of [Cu3(dhba)2(OH)2(H2O)4] (Cu-dhba, H2dhba = 3,5-dinitro-4-hydroxybenzoic acid) has been constructed by the crystal-engineering approach, featuring three-dimensional quasi-diamond interpenetrated structure. Impressively, due to introduction d–d transition Cu2+ ion, Cu-dhba shows broad absorption band with maximum centered at NIR section. As result, exhibits remarkable photothermal conversion performance under 808 nm light; temperature sample surface could be increased up 115 °C within seconds. Benefiting from its high structure density and abundant hydrogen-bonding interactions, no obvious decay after several cycling experiments. Moreover, energetic nitro groups periodically confined in structure, drastic explosion laser irradiation, making promising laser-responsive material.
