Positive correlations found adversities, domains, problems, except for abuse schema Mediation revealed significant indirect effects on problems through disconnection rejection domain. consolidates notion patients, highlighting importance addressing improve therapeutic outcomes. Future should focus longitudinal better understand temporal these relationships.

This study examined the second-order schema domains of Early Maladaptive and Adaptive Schemas based on recent trends compared them with five theoretical commonly used in therapy. Using six international Eastern Western community samples—Singapore (n = 628), Malaysia 229), USA 396), South Africa 390), Nigeria 364), India 306)—confirmatory factor analysis showed that four EMSs EASs, which ran almost parallel each other, were most robust models calling into question validity domain model. Given hypothesized links between schemas needs, these categories EASs represent toxic experiences core emotional respectively. These supported empirically are useful to parents as well clinicians they approach child rearing treatment clients therapy from vantage point needs. psychological experiences, found, expected, be linked various measures well-being ill-being.
