In recent years, cannabis (Cannabis sativa L.) has been legalized by many countries for production, processing, and use considering its tremendous medical industrial applications. Cannabis contains more than a hundred biomolecules (cannabinoids) which have the potentiality to cure different chronic diseases. After harvesting, undergoes postharvest operations including drying, curing, storage, etc. Presently, industry relies on traditional operations, may result in an inconsistent quality of products. this review, we aimed describe biosynthesis process major cannabinoids, used industry, consequences cannabinoid profile. As drying is most important post-harvest operation cannabis, attributes associated with (water activity, equilibrium moisture content, sorption isotherms, etc.) significance novel pre-treatments (microwave heating, cold plasma, ultrasound, pulse electric, irradiation, improvement are thoroughly discussed. Additionally, other such as trimming, packaging discussed, effect yield summarized. A critical investigation factors involved each indeed key obtaining products sustainable development industry.

The aim review was summarize prevalence risk ED in users compared controls. A systematic major databases from inception January 1, 2019, without language restriction, undertaken identify studies investigating presence analysis versus Consequently, odds ratio (OR) with 95% confidence intervals (CI) calculated, applying a random-effect model. Five case–control were included data 3,395 healthy men, 1,035 using (smoking) 2,360 nonusers. overall 69.1% (95% CI: 38.0–89.1), whilst correspondent figure controls 34.7% 20.3–52.7). Nowadays, cannabis is the most consumed illicit drug. The global prevalence of use in 2017 was estimated 188 million people, 3.8% worldwide population. Importantly, legalization different countries, together with increase apparent safety perception may result a great variety health problems. Indeed, an important concern among pregnant and breastfeeding women, especially since content delta9-tetrahidrocannabinol (THC) currently around 2-fold higher than it 15-20 years ago. purpose this study to review during pregnancy including: epidemiological aspects, therapeutic or preventive strategies experimental considerations results from animal models perinatal exposure analyze underlying neurobiological mechanisms identify new approaches. A recent report revealed that women aged 15 44, last month over 4.9%, raising 8.5% 18 25 old age range. Pre-natal post-natal be associated critical alterations newborn infants are prolonged throughout childhood adolescence. Briefly, several reports low birth weight, reduction head circumference, cognitive deficits (attention, learning memory), disturbances emotional response leading aggressiveness, high impulsivity affective disorders, risk develop substance disorder. Furthermore, neuromodulatory neurotransmission systems have been consumption lactation. In spite evidences pointing out negative behavioral consequences there still limitations biomarkers could help establish It difficult define direct association specifically avoiding other confusing factors, co-occurrence drugs (mainly nicotine alcohol), lifestyle socioeconomic factors. Therefore, necessary progress characterization short- long-term exposure-related disturbances.

Background: Fibromyalgia (FMS) is a complex condition that characterized by various pain syndromes and fatigue, among other symptoms experienced. Current medical treatment of FMS involves both pharmacological nonpharmacological approaches, but often with ineffective outcomes. Medicinal cannabis has the potential to be therapeutic option for patients due positive research in chronic management. In addition, it been found have fewer adverse effects compared currently available medications. This literature review aims at answering whether medicinal reported safe effective symptomology experienced people FMS. Methods: A systematic was conducted on human trials utilizing MEDLINE, Embase, CINAHL, AMED, Scopus, Cochrane CENTRAL were used databases search, mesh terms The search limited studies from 2000 2020. Results: From 181 citations identified, 10 included after title, abstract, full text screening occurred. total 1136 (intervention n = 945, control 108, crossover 83) participated ranging 9 383 (mean 114, median 36). Of these studies, there three randomized controlled trials, six observational one study management patients. Cannabis well tolerated main events identified feeling "high," dizziness/vertigo, dry mouth, cough, red eyes, drowsiness no serious reported.
