ABSTRACT This study explores industry‐specific sustainable supply chain (SSC) practices and their impact on firm value using textual analysis of 4791 ESG reports from S&P 500 companies. A novel SSC dictionary, developed Word2Vec, highlights variations in across eight dimensions—procurement, production, logistics, warehousing, distribution, transportation, retail, supplier—across different industries. Regression shows that emphasis procurement retail positively correlates with value, warehousing showing marginal significance. The research contributes to literature by introducing a quantitative methodology linking corporate performance, offering practical insights for aligning sustainability profitability.

ABSTRACT In an era where sustainability has transitioned from being optional to essential, how can firms transform governance and financing strategies lead the transition toward a circular economy (CE)? This study makes vital contribution evolving fields of CE, sustainability, corporate by investigating dynamic interplay between firm structures (FGS), (FS), technological innovation (TI) in enhancing CE performance across US, China, Japan. Grounded Resource‐Based View Agency Theory, examines four critical dimensions: leadership, composition, diversity, structure alongside debt equity strategies. To ensure methodological rigor, panel models Generalized Method Moments (GMM) estimator are employed, complemented instrumental variable approaches. Drawing on comprehensive dataset 461 2000 2022, findings reveal significant regional disparities FGS FS influence performance, with TI emerging as pivotal moderating factor. The further highlights heterogeneous effects ownership types Low‐CE High‐CE performers, emphasizing importance contextual institutional factors adoption. These robust findings, validated through extensive endogeneity sensitivity tests, offer actionable insights for policymakers, leaders, practitioners, stressing need innovative reforms, strategic mechanisms, technology‐driven solutions accelerate global sustainable model.

Abstract The objective of the study was to analyse how integration Industry 4.0 technologies can promote circular practices within supply chains, aiming for efficiency, transparency and sustainability. theoretical framework research included concepts from 4.0, sustainability, chains emerging technologies, underpinning analysis these elements. conducted through a systematic literature review, analysing 28 articles published between 2017 2024 that discussed into chains. results indicate predominantly occurs paradox economic growth, technological innovation. This aids in promoting by identifying waste, opportunities material reuse, tracking waste by‐products predicting product demand with greater accuracy, among other benefits. conclusion highlights importance innovation interdisciplinary collaboration driving more efficient sustainable contributions include expansion knowledge on identification future research, encouragement interdisciplinarity collaboration, promotion across various sectors economy.
