Ferroptosis, a distinct form of regulated cell death (RCD), has emerged as promising approach for cancer treatment owing to its potential inhibit tumor malignancy. Research indicates that non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) regulate ferroptosis susceptibility in cells through epigenetic modifications. ncRNAs play essential roles initiation, metastasis, and drug resistance. Findings indicate small-molecule compounds (SMCs) target ferroptosis, providing new opportunities precision therapy. Therefore, this review aims elucidate current molecular mechanisms underlying ncRNA-mediated regulation investigate the SMCs therapeutic agents modulate process, offering strategy treatment. This also summarizes innovative targeting with SMCs, regulating transforming landscape Overall, it highlights novel therapy by pharmacologically ncRNA-ferroptosis axis SMCs. Antioxid.
