Abstract Depression is a prevalent, heterogeneous, and debilitating disorder that often emerges in adolescence, there need to better understand vulnerability processes inform more targeted intervention efforts. Psychophysiological methods, like event‐related potentials (ERPs), can offer unique insights into the cognitive emotional underlying depression vulnerability. I review my others' research examining ERP measures of reward responsiveness youth present conceptual model development low responsiveness, its role vulnerability, potential windows for intervention. There evidence blunted positivity (RewP) observable children at risk depression, appears be shaped part by early social experiences, predicts later depressive symptoms combination with other factors stress exposure. Further, component consistent RewP reliably elicited response acceptance feedback computerized peer interaction tasks demonstrates associations contextual symptoms, supporting utility developing psychophysiological may capture youths' real‐world experiences processes. In addition, address translational implications clinical describe series studies showing reduced greater reductions treatment but not modifiable current treatments behavioral therapy. Finally, our preliminary efforts develop positive emotion‐focused offspring depressed mothers, informed literature, future directions translating prevention.

Introduction. Early diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder in children is significant clinical problem due to the ever-increasing incidence this condition children. Aim. The aim study a comprehensive analysis data on features bioelectrical activity brain with disorders, identification electroencephalography significance these including ability differentiate their subtypes. Material and Methods. materials for review were scientific articles indexed Russian international databases (Russian Science Citation Index, Scopus, Pubmed) period from 1995 2022. Results discussion. article presents systematized related electroencephalograms which carried out different ways: visual quantitative. authors analyzed changes obtained using spectral analysis, identifying functional connections areas brain, implementation non-linear assessment methods. theory «mirror neurons» was discussed connection peculiarities sensorimotor rhythm reactivity disorder. Conclusion. presence electroencephalographic disorders confirmed, especially 3 12 months, although degree sensitivity methods detection at stage insufficient accurate diagnosis. Dynamic monitoring should be recommended autistic if subclinical epileptiform detected. It also worth paying attention change rhythms dynamics. In general, results are often more informative than neuroimaging methods, most cases do not reveal organic damage obvious developmental child. promising present analysis.

Childhood attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) symptoms prospectively predict the development of borderline personality (BPD) in adolescence and adulthood; adult women with BPD, particular, often retrospectively report childhood ADHD symptoms. However, little is known about specific developmental pathways mechanisms that contribute to this sequential comorbidity. Herein we outline a call for multi-method research examining altered social processing as potential mechanism underlying risk BPD girls ADHD. We review relevant psychopathology theory, describe recent empirical work, steps future work goal promoting continued focused on reducing personal societal burden associated BPD.
