Abstract
Objective
Eating
disorders
(EDs)
represent
a
major
public
health
burden.
Increasingly,
studies
suggest
mental
(MH)
fields
are
failing
to
improve
the
effectiveness
of
treatments
and
that
alternative
models
care
must
be
considered.
Precision
(PMH)
seeks
tailor
treatment
individual
needs
relies
on
comprehensive
understanding
neurobiological
physiological
underpinnings
illness.
Methods
In
this
narrative
review,
published
literature
with
focus
biological
application
PMH
strategies
for
EDs
is
reviewed
summarised.
Results
A
total
39
articles
were
retained
review
covering
