Background: Factors that influence outcomes of interdisciplinary pain rehabilitation programs (IPRP) are poorly known. It is unclear how influenced by intensity, psychological distress, and coping strategies. Aim: This clinical registry-based longitudinal cohort study has three aims: 1) to determine the relative importance acceptance, fear-avoidance for changes in IPRP at 12-month follow-up; 2) investigate whether effects intensity distress on mediated via acceptance fear-avoidance; 3) sex a moderator. Methods: uses Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) from specialist units reporting data (2008– 2016) Swedish Quality Registry Pain Rehabilitation (SQRP). Adult chronic patients (N = 1991) answered PROMs (background, pain, coping, participation, health-related quality life (HRQoL)). Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) was used explore aims. Results: Changes (β:0.424– 0.553; all P< 0.001) were strongest predictor (changes control, interference, HRQoL) follow-up. The next baseline (β: 0.177– 0.233; − 0.152– 0.186; 0.001). Baseline showed weak positive associations. Their aspects. Sex not Discussion Conclusion: Acceptance aspects (baseline changes) important predictors outcomes. also although lesser degree. Some baseline. Future PLS-SEM analysis real-world should include more potential mediators (eg, catastrophizing facets flexibility fear-avoidance) components IPRP. Osteoarthritis accounts for 0.6% of disability-adjusted life years globally. There is a paucity research focused on cannabis-based medicinal products (CBMPs) osteoarthritic chronic pain management. This study aims to assess changes in validated patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) and CBMP clinical safety patients with osteoarthritis. A prospective case series from the UK Medical Cannabis Registry was analyzed. Primary outcomes were Brief Pain Inventory (BPI), McGill Questionnaire (MPQ2), EQ-5D-5L, Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) questionnaire, Single-Item Sleep Quality Scale (SQS) at 1-, 3-, 6-, 12-month follow-ups baseline. Common Terminology Criteria Adverse Events v.4.0 used adverse event (AE) analysis. Statistical significance defined as p < 0.050. Seventeen participants (22.08%) recorded 76 mild AEs (34.86%), 104 moderate (47.71%), 38 severe (17.43%). Though causality cannot be assumed this observational study, results support development randomized control trials osteoarthritis management CBMPs.

Chronic pain is associated with increased disability and vulnerability to emotional disorders. Personality psychological flexibility (PF) describe interindividual differences that shape the adjustment chronic pain. Specifically, PF was found be pain, fatigue, anxiety, depression intensity. Although previous studies established strong correlations between personality outcomes, evidence on nature of this relationship scarce. Therefore, objective study explore mediating effect distress. This transversal included 108 participants (age M = 56.7, SD 11.3) diagnosed musculoskeletal Self-reported measures were administered by medical care team. Multiple mediation models performed for estimating indirect effects each outcome variable. After controlling age gender covariates, we completely mediated traits all outcomes partially impact extraversion anxiety. In addition, stability also had an anxiety through PF. are significant predictors outcomes. represents a core process perceived intensity in patients rheumatic disease. These results could facilitate application individualized interventions clinical contexts targeting reduction avoidance patients.

Abstract Rationale Cervical radiculopathy is initially typically managed conservatively. Surgery indicated when conservative management fails or with severe/progressive neurological signs. Personalised multimodal physiotherapy could be a promising strategy. However, aggregated evidence on the (cost‐)effectiveness of personalised compared to surgery with/without post‐operative lacking. Aim/Objectives To systematically summarise literature without in patients cervical radiculopathy. Methods PubMed, Embase, CINAHL, PsycINFO and Web Science were searched from inception 1st March 2023. Primary outcomes effectiveness regarding costs, arm pain intensity disability. Neck intensity, perceived recovery, quality life, symptoms, range‐of‐motion, return‐to‐work, medication use, (re)surgeries adverse events considered secondary outcomes. Randomised clinical trials comparing versus surgical approaches included. Two independent reviewers performed study selection, data‐extraction, risk bias assessment using Cochrane RoB 2 Consolidated Health Economic Evaluation Reporting Standards statement. Certainty was determined Grading Recommendations, Assessment, Development Evaluations. Results From 2109 records, eight papers two original trials, 117 participants total Low certainty showed there no significant differences disability, except for subscale ‘heavy work’ related disability (12 months) at 5–8 years. Cost‐effectiveness not assessed. There low that improved significantly less neck sensory loss recovery physiotherapy. numbness, range motion, life. No reported. Conclusion Considering importance accurate recommendations current level certainty, high‐quality cost‐effectiveness studies are needed.
