Dual-functional

photocatalyst

tandem
degradation

H2

h–1
g–1
shown.
The
hybrid
shows
gradient
core–shell
morphology
with
visible
-
light-absorbing
phenyl-modified
carbon
nitride
(PhCN)
core
porous
PhCN/TiO2
outer
shell,
resulting
an
enhanced
interaction
between
the
catalyst
surroundings.
nanoscale
crystallization
TiO2
on
PhCN's
surface,
shifts
triazine
network
structure,
while
autoclave
treatments
further
increase
band
gap
suppress
charge
carrier
recombination.

changes
photocatalytic
