ABSTRACT This review explores the utilization of lignocellulosic biomass (LCB) waste in fabrication graphene and its applications hydrogen storage. Several LCB wastes, such as rice straws, coconut shells, wheat sugarcane bagasse, along with methodology used characteristics final graphene, have been discussed detail. It was found that shells produced crumpled multilayered husks (RHs) provided a mix layers amorphous carbon, straw yielded few‐layered bagasse contributed to different graphene‐like materials. has also focused on various synthesis processes, carbonization, hydrothermal carbonization (HTC), chemical activation, pyrolysis, vapor deposition (CVD), Hummers' method for from waste, their advantages disadvantages, better understanding. Various results exploring use biomass‐derived (LCB‐G) modified forms storage applications. challenges LCB, low yield, product quality, scalability, expensive methods, toxic chemicals, some potential solutions, mentioned. Finally, concludes insights into future LCB‐G role while identifying gaps, scalability further research development.
