Engineered bacteria are widely used in cancer treatment because live facultative/obligate anaerobes can selectively proliferate at tumor sites and reach hypoxic regions, thereby causing nutritional competition, enhancing immune responses, producing anticancer microbial agents situ to suppress growth. Despite the unique advantages of bacteria-based biotherapy, insufficient efficiency limits its application complete ablation malignant tumors. The combination nanomedicine engineered has attracted increasing attention owing their striking synergistic effects treatment. that function as natural vehicles effectively deliver nanomedicines sites. Moreover, provide an opportunity enhance by modulating TME substrates support nanomedicine-mediated reactions. Nanomedicine exhibits excellent optical, magnetic, acoustic, catalytic properties, plays important role promoting bacteria-mediated biotherapies. therapy comprehensively summarized this review. Attention is paid not only fabrication nanobiohybrid composites, but also interpromotion mechanism between therapy. Additionally, recent advances bacteria-synergized multimodal therapies highlighted.

Cannabidiol (CBD), a non-psychoactive phytocannabinoid abundant in Cannabis sativa, has gained considerable attention for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, analgesic, and neuroprotective properties. It exhibits the potential to prevent or slow progression of various diseases, ranging from malignant tumors viral infections neurodegenerative disorders ischemic diseases. Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), formerly known as non-alcoholic fatty (NAFLD), alcoholic disease, hepatitis stand prominent causes morbidity mortality chronic diseases globally. The literature substantiated CBD’s therapeutic effects across diverse vivo vitro models. However, precise mechanism action remains elusive, an absence evidence hinders translation into clinical practice. This comprehensive review emphasizes wealth data linking CBD Importantly, we delve detailed discussion receptors through which might exert effects, including cannabinoid receptors, CB1 CB2, peroxisome proliferator-activated (PPARs), G protein-coupled receptor 55 (GPR55), transient channels (TRPs), their intricate connections with In conclusion, address new questions that warrant further investigation this evolving field.

Nerve aberrations and vascular lesions in the distal lower limbs are etiological factors for diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs). This study aimed to understand regulatory mechanism of angiogenesis patients with DFU by examining lncRNA, as well explore effective targets diagnosing treating DFU. The serum levels A1BG-AS1 miR-214-3p predictive power were determined quantitative PCR ROC analysis. correlation clinical characteristics was examined using chi-square tests. risk type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) identified logistic regression model. Background/Objectives: Diabetes mellitus is a growing global health concern, driving the exploration of new therapies like cannabidiol (CBD), which shows potential in improving insulin sensitivity and glycemic control, though its effects on glucose metabolism remain unclear. This study evaluates CBD’s dose-dependent glycemia, insulin, hepatic carbohydrate diabetic rats. Methods: The Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (OGTT) was performed healthy rats to compare intragastric vs. intraperitoneal CBD (0.5, 5, 50 mg/kg). Diabetic were treated with (25, 50, 100 mg/kg) or metformin (70 for 8 days. Blood glucose, lipid profiles, key carbohydrate-metabolizing enzymes analyzed. Results: In OGTT, reduced AUC, mg/kg showing strongest effect, while had no impact. rats, 25 lowered blood but only increased insulin. dose caused greatest reduction moderate rise, effect. At mg/kg, inhibited glucose-6-phosphatase glucose-6-phosphate. further suppressed gluconeogenic enzymes, glycogen phosphorylase liver enhanced glucose-6-phosphate, metabolic effects. hexokinase weaker Metformin improved utilization storage. at triacylglycerols HDL, Conclusions: provides strong evidence antidiabetic potential, especially particularly through modulation tendency regulate levels.
