Shared
electric
scooters
(e-scooters)
have
rapidly
gained
prominence
as
a
first/last-mile
mobility
solution
globally,
with
over
66,000
systems
operating
in
88
cities
across
21
countries
2019.
While
recognized
for
their
flexibility,
accessibility,
and
environmental
benefits,
concerns
such
safety,
parking
issues,
infrastructural
challenges
accompany
the
operation
of
shared
e-scooter
systems.
This
research
investigates
evolving
perceptions
users
Riyadh,
Saudi
Arabia,
comparing
pre-survey
results
recent
study
following
official
deployment
e-scooters
transportation
mode
2022.
The
analysis
reveals
significant
shifts
user
behavior,
preferences,
perceptions.

indicate
increased
familiarity
e-scooters,
heightened
usage
rates,
notable
changes
domestic
use.

variations
willingness
to
use

With
the
introduction
of
mobile
applications
that
allow
short-term
rentals,
electric
scooters
(e-scooters)
are
gaining
popularity
as
a
means
micromobility
in
urban
areas.
The
aim
study
was
to
assess
circumstances
and
causes
death
traffic
accidents
involving
Poland.
