ABSTRACT The 74th WHO Europe Regional Committee introduced a set of health priorities comprising core areas public and expanded tasks to respond multiple crises emergent needs populations systems. No systematic procedure competencies development routine review has been established align changing policy workforce. We argue for transformative approach from theoretical constructs actionable pathways. A rapid qualitative assessment three the most relevant workforce frameworks in European region was undertaken using selected as cases. results highlight that existing provide some helpful guidance, but gaps exist specific generic leadership. Further research are needed, calling national policymakers action invest evolving priorities.

Artificial intelligence (AI) can rapidly analyse large and complex datasets, extract tailored recommendations, support decision making, improve the efficiency of many tasks that involve processing data, text, or images. As such, AI has potential to revolutionise public health practice research, but accompanying challenges need be addressed. used surveillance, epidemiological communication, allocation resources, other forms making. It also productivity in daily work. Core its widespread adoption span equity, accountability, data privacy, for robust digital infrastructures, workforce skills. Policy makers must acknowledge regulatory frameworks covering lifecycle relevant technologies are needed, alongside sustained investment infrastructure development. Public institutions play a key part advancing meaningful use by ensuring their staff up date regarding existing provisions ethical principles development technologies, thinking about how prioritise equity design implementation, investing systems securely process volumes needed applications governance cybersecurity, promoting through clear guidelines align with human rights good, considering AI's environmental impact.

We study the relationship between tweets referencing Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) or COVID-19 symptoms and confirmed cases of these diseases. Additionally, we propose a computational methodology for selecting applying Machine Learning (ML) algorithms to predict public health indicators using social media data. To achieve this, novel pipeline was developed, integrating three distinct models ARI COVID-19. The dataset contains related respiratory diseases, published 2020 2022 in state San Luis Potosí, Mexico, obtained via Twitter API (now X). is composed stages, it involves tools such as Dataiku Python with ML libraries. first two stages focuses on identifying best-performing predictive models, while third stage includes Natural Language Processing (NLP) tweet selection. One our key findings that contributed improved predictions but did not enhance time series predictions. NLP approach combination Word2Vec algorithm KMeans model Furthermore, both by 3% second half when were included feature, where best prediction DeepAR.
