Corporate financialization in intensively polluting industries has become a critical factor understanding the intersection of financial behaviour and sustainable development. This study investigates which specific forms uncertainty including economic policy, monetary trade oil price can significantly influence within China's sectors. Utilizing panel dataset Chinese A-share listed companies from 2011Q1 to 2022Q4, this applies Principal Component Analysis (PCA) construct multidimensional index financialization, followed by regression analysis. Findings reveal that global policy exerts most significant impact on corporate these industries. Furthermore, financing constraints negatively moderate relationship, while Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) practices have positive moderating effects. Firms with higher managerial overconfidence exhibit increased levels financialization. Additionally, heterogeneity exists across firms, those incurring environmental protection fees, non-state-owned enterprises, firms based developed eastern regions displaying elevated levels. Diversification external monitoring also positively relationship. Robustness tests confirm consistency findings, providing valuable insights for seeking strategically leverage ESG, technology (FinTech), response fluctuating uncertainties.

Abstract Separating the relationship between environment and economy simply discussing impact of carbon pricing on corporate emissions may lead to “green paradox”. That is, environmental policies aimed at reducing would result in an increase emissions. To remedy this shortcoming, scholars have proposed concept “carbon performance”. With growing interest performance, study investigates trading price enterprise which is still unknown existing literature. Based panel data high energy‐intensive (HEIs) listed enterprises China from 2013 2021, we find a positive significant performance. In components, that performance enhancement effect stronger for industry competition, state‐owned large‐scale enterprises. addition, explore external influences relationship, select financing constraints uncertainty as moderating variables. This research provides new insights enhance HEIs, well experiences lessons construction China's market.

ABSTRACT In response to the global need for effective management of carbon emissions and alignment with sustainable development goals, predicting trading prices accurately is critical. This study introduces a multifrequency data fusion price prediction model (MFF‐CPPM), addressing nonlinear characteristics inconsistent feature factor frequencies. The MFF‐CPPM consists feature‐extraction frontend, transformer, regression layer, offering novel methodological approach in forecasting studies. model's validity was tested Guangdong, China's largest pilot market. results demonstrated that outperformed baseline models terms price‐prediction accuracy trend forecasting. Additional trials conducted Hubei Beijing confirmed robustness generalization capabilities, providing valuable evidence its effectiveness reliability across varying market contexts. presents predictive prices, unique capability harness at differing not only enhances but also offers an innovative effectively incorporate information. advancement paves way flexible any scenario where arrive
