Background
and
Objectives:
Defined

chronic
pain,
rheumatic
diseases

co-occurring
with
anxiety
depression.

interventions,
cognitive-behavioral
therapies

efficiency
in

Abstract
The
challenges
of
parental
cancer
while
caring
for
young
offspring
are
often
neglected
by
researchers
and
healthcare
providers.
Focusing
on
parents
with
cancer,
this
cross-sectional
study
examines
the
mediating
moderating
roles
a
malleable
risk
factor,
psychological
inflexibility,
in
relationships
between
perceived
illness
severity
quality
life
(QoL)
family
outcomes.
Psychological
inflexibility
was
conceptualized
using
acceptance
commitment
therapy
(ACT)
framework.
A
total
86
(aged
11–24
years;

17.94,

completed
survey
that
assessed
mental
physical
health
QoL,
outcomes
(family
functioning,
parenting
concerns,
openness
to
discuss
cancer),
socio-demographics,

Mediation

Abstract
Background
In
the
nursing
workforce,
operating
room(OR)
nurses
are
at
high
risk
for
psychological
issues
due
to
unique
challenges
of
their
work
environment.
Psychological
flexibility(PF),

a
protective
