Stomata play an essential role in transpiration and metabolism. Orchids are Crassulacean Acid Metabolism (CAM) plants which generally succulent leaf type. have several types of stomata, depending on habitat environmental parameters that affect them. This study aimed to compare the including anatomical structure, activity, density orchids Dendrobium aphyllum Arachnis flos-aeris. The method used was printing surface leaves using glue observed with a microscope. Data obtained were analyzed help Image raster 3.0 MS. Excel. In present study, stomata D. A. flos-aeris characterized by anomocytic highest abaxial part 09.00 am 1177.78 um2. adaxial both species classified as low, or no found at all. distance between is denser than leaves' side. activity related orchids' adaptation process their habitat. affects CO2 fixation orchid CAM

In this research, 25 medicinally used Lamiaceae species belonging to 20 genera have been studied and identified for the nine disorders. We scanning electron microscopy (SEM) qualitative quantitative morphological character identification. The micromorphological characters observed here were important distinguishing taxa. highest medicinal values reported Vitex negundo Scutellaria baicalensis all considered categories except urinary otorhinolaryngology foliar epidermal anatomical characteristics revealed that features of provide taxonomically significant accurate identification information delimitate family species. Moreover, we focused on both (epidermal cell shape, stomata type, stomatal pore subsidiary glandular trichomes, non-glandular trichome shape) as well size, trichomes size). diversity was different in most species' adaxial abaxial surfaces. species, anomocytic observed, but other types such diacytic, paracytic, tetracytic type also examined. diverse pattern suggests taxa insight evidence taxonomic observation Traditional Chinese Medicinal plants from Lamiaceae. This work sets an avenue future research exploration flora through microscopic investigations. RESEARCH HIGHLIGHTS: offers a thorough Taxonomic authentication. Qualitative characterization

The pollen morphology of weeds was investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). A morpho-palynological investigation 18 species that belongs to 16 angiosperms families performed using SEM document distinguishable microscopic features. main objective the present study provide basic knowledge about features weed helps delimit flora Potohar Plateau. results show diversity among qualitative and quantitative characteristics shape, equatorial polar axis diameter, exine’s thickness, surface ornamentation. grains were spherical, prolate-spheroidal, oblate-spheroidal, sub-oblate. exine ornamentation in most reticulate, scarbate, aerolate, faveolate, reticulate-perforate, reticulate-scabrate. All described possessed tricolpate pollen. variations found thickness other characters helpful at genus species-specific levels. In accordance with these variations, a taxonomic key prepared identify differentiate plant species. images can help taxa level. This provides baseline information distinguish weeds.

Grewia tembensis and trichocarpa inhabit dry tropical zones arid environments, adapting to extreme climatic conditions limited moisture supplies. Overall, L. possesses a significant variety of bioactive chemical constituents great therapeutic importance. Indeed, for these species, precise morphological analyses are poor, their detailed characterization is almost non-existent. This research attempts investigate compare the micromorphological traits G. species through scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Micromorphological characteristics leaf fructiferous structures turned out be highly effective in separating two trichocarpa, especially regarding type, density, distribution trichomes on lower upper surfaces leaves, along with stomatal trichome types fruits. Statistical using principal component analysis, t-tests, hierarchical clustering conducted data flowers, fruits showed considerable variation within samples trichocarpa. On basis assessment characteristics, both were distinct clustered into separate groups. study emphasizes necessity performing studies by means an microscope proves that features important species. Such would offer efficient tool distinguish Within findings, this suggests such diagnostics likely useful identification Grewia, cases where there no available.

Abstract Biodiesel is a sustainable, inexpensive, and alternative energy source produced from vegetable oils animal fats. Precise authentic identification of oil yielding plant species very crucial. Therefore, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was employed in our current investigation to study micromorphological characteristics ten novel seeds for their reliable identification. Macromorphological characters sample were explored by light microscopy. Seed size varied 16 6.2 mm length 18.4–4.5 width. shape ovoid cordial color beige brown. content ranged 25% 45% (w/w). Whereas free fatty acid (FFA) seed 0.42 3.4 mg KOH/g. potential Chamaerops humilis found be highest (98%) all. Besides, ultra‐structural observation demonstrated variation surface sculpturing which rugous, reticulate, perforate, striate, webby. Periclinal wall arrangements rough, ridged, depressed, thick curved whereas, anticlinal walls pattern showed wavy, smooth, raised, deep depressed. It ultimately concluded that Scanning could serve as an advanced tool representing hidden seeds. offers significant knowledge researchers local community accurate genuine Research Highlights Non‐edible promising bioenergy. The morphology of stigma has taxonomic values. To further explore the taxonomy family Asteraceae, morphological characteristics 28 genera, 32 species, and two varieties in were observed using scanning electron microscopy. results indicated that these Asteraceae plants could be divided into 10 types, which eight are reported for first time. support close relationship between genera Aster Erigeron among Sonchus, Taraxacum, Youngia. Our enriched type diversity data provided a basis study phylogenetic evolution Asteraceae.
