ABSTRACT Sishen formula is a famous prescription utilized to treat kidney diarrhea. The main components of Psoraleae Fructus and Euodiae are reported with the liver toxicity; however, dissolution difference those toxic compounds among single medicine decoctions versatile compatibility forms has yet not been documented by quantitative assays. We established validated an ultra‐high performance liquid chromatography/triple quadrupole‐linear ion‐trap mass spectrometry‐multiple reaction monitoring approach targeting 17 (e.g., four coumarins eight flavonoids from Fructus; three alkaloids two limonoids Fructus). Co‐decoction Myristicae Semen or Schisandrae Chinensis could significantly affect Fructus, whereas weak influence was observed for combining Fructus. Combination increase contents both but effect relatively slight. Moreover, in remarkably inhibited, compared pure decoction, variation between decoction formula. These results benefit bridge efficacy toxicity changes

Qiangli Dingxuan (QLDX) tablet is a widely recognized traditional Chinese medicine formula that has been extensively used in China for decades to treat vertigo, tinnitus, and dizziness owing its outstanding therapeutic outcomes. However, the complexity of chemical components this makes it challenging separate identify these components. This study presented an effective sensitive strategy rapid separation simultaneous structural identification QLDX using ultra‐performance liquid chromatography with quadrupole time‐of‐flight tandem mass spectrometry UNIFI platform. Based on retention times, accurate masses, fragment ions, related literature, authentic standards, 119 compounds were identified or tentatively characterized; included 9 iridoids, 12 lignans, 21 phenylpropanoids, 27 flavonoids, 7 phthalides, 43 others. Among them, 36 confirmed reference standards. The representative various structures studied by analyzing their fragmentation patterns characteristic ions. Jiangfangbaoxin (JFBX) has been used to attenuate essential hypertension (EH) for over 20 years. Here, we aimed examine the blood composition and toxicological effects of JFBX using 40 10 male age-matched spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHRs) Wistar-Kyoto, respectively. After 12 weeks intervention, pressure left ventricular hypertrophy were measured. Subsequently, their organs harvested pathological examination. Ultra-high-performance liquid chromate- graphy with quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry was explore components in blood. Low high-doses attenuated both systolic diastolic SHRs. The high- low-dose groups showed significantly reduced endothelin-1 increased nitric oxide levels. myocardial tissue levels tumor necrosis factor-α, interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6 JFBX-high-dose group decreased. Furthermore, superoxide dismutase malonaldehyde decreased, results that did not cause particularly severe side when administered after weeks. In total, 87 precursor compounds, including alkaloids, iridoid glycosides, flavonoids, siterpenoids, volatile components, organic phenols/acids, detected EH. No serious organ damage observed oral administration.

Fangji Huangqi Tang (FHT) is a traditional prescription frequently utilized in clinical practice, with wide range of applications and good therapeutic effects. Quality control FHT difficult because Chinese medicine compounds usually contain vast array components characterized by significant structural diversity. A quick accurate method to determine the content active constituents was essential, which purpose quality efficacy assessment could be achieved. utilizing UHPLC-QqQ-MS technology multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) mode established quantify 14 bioactive simultaneously. These analytes included tetrandrine, fangchinoline, calycosin, calycosin-7-glucoside, medicarpin, formononetin, atractylenolide I, II, III, liquiritigenin, isoliquiritigenin, liquiritin, isoliquiritin, glycyrrhizic acid. And our knowledge, II reported for first time this paper. The thoroughly validated stable reliable application regarding specificity, linearity, precision, stability, repeatability, accuracy. allowed simultaneous determination diverse structures trace amounts FHT, ultimately achieving its safe appropriate use.
