Abstract Anisotropic bilayer hydrogel actuators are high‐performance materials engineered to exhibit unique and programmable mechanical properties, including varying stiffness directional bending capabilities, by integrating two layers with distinct responses stimuli. However, programming constructing these hydrogels remains challenging due their lack of robustness, rapid responsiveness, dual‐actuation which hinder practical applications further development. Hence, developing a double‐actuating temperature‐responsive auxiliary layer could address challenges. Herein, an anisotropic actuator is developed using simple economical casting method, in multiasymmetric structure locked interfacial fabricated. The as‐prepared demonstrate exceptional abilities, achieving 360 °C angle just 8 s, adaptive, complex shape transformation capabilities tailored specific needs (e.g., dimensional (2D) letters, leaves, flower, butterfly hydrogel). Furthermore, the possess excellent memory, strength, conductivity. Additionally, gripper humidity alarm prototypes made from also successfully developed, illustrating that this approach opens new avenues for designing producing smart sensors, alarms, on‐demand grippers actuators.

ABSTRACT Anisotropic hydrogel actuators with gradient structures offer tunable mechanical properties, like directional stiffness or bending. However, creating these gradient‐structured bilayer hydrogels is challenging, as current methods rely on complex, single‐force programming. Developing a double‐actuating temperature‐responsive and auxiliary layers could address limitations enhance their applicability. In this study, an anisotropic actuator was developed using simple, cost‐effective method to create unique multi‐asymmetric structure embedded in one layer. The resulting exhibited excellent bending (360° within 9 s) adaptive, complex shape‐programmable deformation (2D letters, flowers, butterflies, leaves). addition, the demonstrated good shape memory, strength, conductivity. Prototypes of gripper humidity alarm were successfully fabricated, showcasing potential strategy for designing smart applications sensors, alarms, grippers, actuators.
