Psychological stress is widely acknowledged as a major contributor to immunosuppression, rendering individuals more susceptible various diseases. The complex interplay between the nervous, endocrine, and immune systems underlies stress-induced immunosuppression. However, underlying mechanisms of psychological-stress-induced immunosuppression remain unclear. In this study, we utilized restraint mouse model known for its suitability in investigating physiological regulations during psychological stress. Pyroptosis may play an important role in the resistance of ovarian cancer (OC) to chemotherapy. However, mechanism by which pyroptosis modulation can attenuate chemotherapy has not been comprehensively studied OC. Here, we demonstrated that RAS-associated C3 botulinum toxin substrate 1 (RAC1) is highly expressed OC and negatively correlated with patient outcomes.
