BACKGROUND: The spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has significantly diminished worldwide, but post-COVID-19 psychological experiences are rarely documented. Understanding the individual needs and challenges working during COVID-19 pandemic, as well resilience health in continuing work its aftermath, is essential. OBJECTIVE: objective to explore nurses’ perspectives on confidence following pandemic. METHODS: A descriptive phenomenological design purposive sampling approach was employed. Registered nurses at largest organization Qatar, which includes 14 facilities, were invited participate this study. Seventeen who facilities deployed first, second, third waves participated interviews. Data collected through semi-structured face-to-face interviews analyzed using inductive thematic analysis. RESULTS: transformation participants summarized into three themes: Fear zone, learning growth zone. These themes classified 13 sub-themes. anxiety, influence media news, safety concerns, frequent changes policies guidelines factors fear Coping mechanisms, teamwork, establishing compassionate care, social acceptance, helped them learn psychologically Growth such personal professional benefits, resilience, a sense satisfaction, changed life perceptions identified CONCLUSION: Working imposed many nurses, increased workload stress. However, different pandemic have contributed confidence, deeper meaning nurses. Their handling difficult situations made more confident dealing with stressful under pressure.

Abstract Aim This study aimed to identify self‐esteem, self‐compassion and psychological resilience among staff nurses during the COVID‐19 pandemic in Qatar. Design Descriptive cross‐sectional survey design. Methods The was conducted on January 2022 (during third wave Qatar). ABSTRACT The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) placed an unprecedented burden on the global healthcare system, severely affecting physical and mental health of workers, particularly nurses. Nurses faced immense workloads, increased infection risks, uncertainty, public scrutiny. Despite these challenges, nurses were lauded for their dedication resilience in confronting pandemic. Many experienced mortality, morbidity, post‐COVID sequelae. This review integrates psychological literature from 2020 to 2022, utilizing Whittemore Knafl's integrative method. A total 22 studies met inclusion criteria, focusing how demonstrated during COVID‐19 crisis. Most reported a moderate level resilience, with mean score 62.54. Factors such as positive acceptance change, trust personal judgment, perceived competence, spiritual influences positively associated whereas burnout, anxiety, depressive thoughts negatively impacted it. Resilience was found mediate relationships between variables like stress, emotional exhaustion, quality life. suggests that administrations should foster healthy work environment, maintain optimistic outlook, establish strong connections frontline staff mitigate pandemic's impact. Providing supportive environments, training, interventions will be crucial enhancing future crises.

The COVID-19 pandemic profoundly impacted the mental and physical well-being of nurses, with distinct challenges faced by pediatric general hospital nurses. This study aimed to compare stressors experiences these two groups in Greece during after pandemic. A cross-sectional survey 249 nurses (108 141 general) (response rate: 71.1%) was conducted using a 34-item questionnaire adapted from Coronavirus Health Impact Survey (CRISIS) tool. Body image (BI) is a determinant of mental health and has strong association with self-esteem self-worth, core elements resilience. The relationship between BI appreciation resilience in professionals (HPs) remains largely unexplored. aim the study was to compare HPs' determine appreciation. A cross-sectional comparative conducted using an online questionnaire that completed by 484 HPs included a) demographic occupational characteristics, b) Appreciation Scale-2 (BAS-2), c) Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC-10). Data collected January March 2024. Nurses reported significantly higher (3.96 ± 0.60 vs. 3.45 0.73, p < 0.001) (3.25 0.64 2.98 0.55, compared physicians. Physical activity (PA) is crucial for maintaining physical and mental health, particularly healthcare professionals like nurses, whose demanding roles can impact their well-being. Professional Quality of Life (ProQOL) reflects caregiving roles' positive negative outcomes, encompassing compassion, satisfaction, burnout, trauma stress. This study explores the association between ProQOL among nurses in Qatar. A quantitative, analytical, cross-sectional was conducted working at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), with a sample size 384, selected from approximately 10,000 nurses. Data collected via an online survey using validated tools: International Activity Questionnaire-Short Form (IPAQ-SF) Scale (ProQOL-5). Descriptive statistics, chi-square tests, ANOVA were applied to analyze associations PA levels, ProQOL, various sociodemographic, occupational, health-related factors. total 430 participated (82.1% female, mean age: 43.3 ± 7.2 years). Most participants reported engaging low (46.5%) or moderate (51.6%) levels. Moderate significantly associated higher scores, compassion satisfaction (40.3 6.3), compared (36.9 7.2) high levels (38.7 6.9). Burnout showed no significant Sociodemographic factors, including age shift patterns, PA, being more common slightly older those 8-hour shifts. positively associates nurses' professional quality life, by enhancing satisfaction. While burnout did not show any relationship other factors organizational support work environment may play pivotal role. BACKGROUND: To cope up with the stressors and to make correct decisions in critical conditions enhance quality of health care services nurses adopt measures like emotional intelligence self-compassion. MATERIAL AND METHODS: A nonexperimental descriptive correlation research design was used collect data from 450 staff working different wards Mahatma Gandhi hospital, Jaipur, Rajasthan, 01/08/2023 30/9/2023 by convenient sampling technique. The dropout rate 4.44%. demographic information form three valid reliable questionnaires were that is, trait questionnaire short (TEIQue-SF), self-compassion scale, Maslach Burnout Inventory. Pearson analysis used. RESULTS: findings showed most had average level (88.60%) moderate (63.95%). Majority have risk for exhaustion (55.58%) depolarization (73.72%). Totally, 45.58% high personal achievement. Positive correlations found between self-compassion-emotional ( r = 0.28, P < 0.01). Negative observed occupational burnout -0.33, 0.01); -0.31, CONCLUSIONS: Recommended policy makers nursing managers impart continuous training sessions promote their thus reducing burnout.
