Background/Objectives: The COVID-19 pandemic compelled countries worldwide to implement stringent visitation restrictions across hospitals, nursing homes, and long-term care facilities mitigate viral transmission. While initially justified by the uncertainty surrounding virus, these often lasted well beyond acute stage of pandemic, leading substantial psychological physical harm, particularly for older adults. This study assesses effects controls offers strategies balance public health priorities with patients' rights well-being during crises. Methods: An integrative review comparative analysis legislative measures was undertaken. International national regulations case studies were reviewed, ethical frameworks considered. Abstract Aim To explore the experiences and needs of family members during course COVID‐19 critical illness from onset to rehabilitation. Design An exploratory qualitative study. Methods Twelve surviving critically ill patients restricted visiting patients, were interviewed digitally. Reflexive thematic analysis was used. Results Three themes generated data; ‘Experiencing a double burden’, ‘Becoming an insignificant other’ ‘Regaining significance’. Family often themselves, which represented extra burden when patient deteriorated. We aimed to synthesize the qualitative evidence on impacts of COVID-19-related restricted family presence policies from perspective patients, families, and healthcare professionals neonatal (NICU), pediatric (PICU), or adult ICUs. searched MEDLINE, EMBASE, Cochrane Databases Reviews Clinical Trials, CINAHL, Scopus, PsycINFO, Web Science. Two researchers independently reviewed titles/abstracts full-text articles for inclusion. Thematic analysis was completed following appraising article quality assessing confidence in individual review findings using standardized tools. synthesized 54 184 studies, revealing these children adults on: (1) Family integrated care patient family-centered (e.g., disruption breastfeeding/kangaroo care, dehumanizing patients); (2) Patients, negative mental health consequences, moral distress); (3) Support systems loss support friends/families); (4) Relationships essential bonding with infant, struggle develop trust). The post-ICU home recovery period requires patients and caregivers to confront challenges adopt coping strategies as a family dyad, necessitating effective dyadic interaction patterns. Existing qualitative research shows that the dyads face interactive or independent employs varying strategies, which may include strong communication or, conversely, avoidance. However, single study alone might offer limited generalizability, there is lack of broader, more nuanced understanding about challenge copings among ICU survivors caregivers. This meta-synthesis aims figure out interactivity independence during process for studies, was guided by Stress Coping Framework. We systematically reviewed six electronic databases, including PubMed, Medline, Cochrane Library, CINAHL, PsycArticles, PsycInfo, relevant studies published from inception January, 2024. utilized content analysis approach data analysis.
