Educational strategies that can effectively gain this sensitivity are matter of curiosity. Moral sensitivity is essential for nurses to recognize and appropriately respond ethical issues, understanding the impact of their actions on patient well-being. Abstract Background Nurses, the largest frontline healthcare group in world, experience a high incidence of moral distress. Enhancing sensitivity (MS) can effectively alleviate this However, MS levels among nurses have not been clearly defined. Therefore, study aimed to assess level and provide evidence-based insights improve their practices. Methods This review searched multiple databases, including PubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase, Web Science, CINAHL, Scopus, Medline, China Knowledge Resource Integrated Database, Wanfang VIP Chinese Biomedical Medical Journal Full Text Google Scholar, OpenGrey, from inception December 31, 2024. Two reviewers (Ting Zhao Shi Chen) independently screened literature extracted data. Their quality was assessed using Joanna Briggs Institute’s Critical Appraisal Tool. Data were analyzed Stata software (version 17.0) synthesize mean scores questionnaire (MSQ). Subgroup meta-regression analysis performed identify sources heterogeneity, conducted robustness results.
