Abstract Nine poly(phthalazinone ether ketone) resins were designed and synthesized using three bisphenol four halogenated monomers. Poly(phthalazinone (PPBEK) sulfone (PPBESK) demonstrated liquid oxygen compatibility (LOC), with PPBEK maintaining its LOC even after 20 days of immersion in oxygen. The mechanism the polymers presence force‐thermal‐chemical multi‐energy fields was analyzed techniques such as thermal analysis‐infrared‐gas chromatography (TGA‐IR‐GC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), x‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Carbon fiber (CF) reinforced composites fabricated PPBESK matrices, CF‐PPBEK successfully achieving LOC. microcracking resistance mechanical properties investigated at 90 K. interaction between elucidated, providing theoretical guidance an experimental foundation for application resin matrix storage tanks. In the foreseeable future, development of petroleum-based polymeric materials may be limited, owing to gradual consumption disposable resources and increasing emphasis on environmental protection policies. Therefore, it is necessary focus introducing environmentally friendly renewable biobased as a substitute for feed stocks in preparation different types industrially important polymers. Plant polyphenols, kind natural aromatic biomolecule, exist widely some plant species. Benefiting from their special macromolecular structure, high reactivity, broad abundance, polyphenols are potent candidates replace dwindling monomers derived synthesizing high-quality materials. this review, most related innovative methods elaborating novel addressed. After brief historical overview, classification, structural characteristics, reactivity summarized detail. addition, interesting works concerning chemical modifications polymerization techniques also discussed. Abstract In this paper, carboxyl‐terminated nitrile rubber (CTBN) and Nano cerium oxide (n‐CeO 2 ) were used to toughen epoxy resin (EP), the effects of toughening agents on mechanical thermal properties EP studied. Orthogonal experiments determined that ideal toughener proportions are 20 wt% CTBN 1 n‐CeO , under which demonstrated superior characteristics. The combined application significantly enhanced resin's properties, surpassing individual particle toughening. Compared with pure EP, impact, flexural, tensile strengths resin‐cured product synergistically toughened by increased 462%, 136%, 110%, respectively, flexural Young's moduli 38% 35%, respectively. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), electron microscopy (SEM) characterize cured resin. results indicate incorporating reduces reaction activation energy, thereby accelerating curing facilitating its progression. addition nanoparticles enhances maximum weight loss temperature resin, improving stability. particles create a uniform phase separation structure within enhancing toughness strength. Furthermore, impact fracture mode transitions from brittle tough fracture, demonstrating significant effect. This provides an effective method for modification EP.
