Abstract Organophosphates nucleating agents are widely used in the plastics industry. Nucleating with different morphologies have various effects on resin materials. The micro‐jetting technique is shown to be a promising tool for controlled preparation of micro‐and nano‐sized particles. Therefore, this paper, controllable sodium 2,2'‐methylene‐bis‐(4,6‐di‐tert‐butylphenyl) phosphate (NA11) achieved by technique. study focused impact parameters its shape and size. Hexagonal, rhombic, rod‐shaped, needle‐shaped micro‐sized NA11 crystals prepared. results show that decrease polarity organic solvents added antisolvent water led transformation from bulk hexagon plate‐like rhombus finally crystals. addition surfactants can regulate crystal growth rates orientations, thereby facilitating formation rod‐shaped Based crystals, size studied. Crystals average particle sizes range 40–100 µm obtained coefficients variation as low 4% varying relevant experimental such supersaturation, solution homogeneity environment, mixing intensity. This provides references designing functional
