Ischemic stroke (IS), a major cause of death and disability globally, requires innovative therapeutic approaches due to its complex pathology. Nature medicine (NM) offers promising treatments through bioactive compounds, which target the multifaceted nature stroke-induced damage. However, clinical application NM is limited by challenges in bioavailability specificity. This review article presents an advanced perspective on integrating nanotechnology with create potent nanodelivery systems for ischemic treatment. We highlight pathological underpinnings stroke, including oxidative stress, inflammation, apoptosis, discuss how compounds offer targeted mitigation strategies. Abstract Background Stroke is a leading cause of death worldwide, which associated with heavy economic and social burden. The purpose this study was to investigate the effects supplementation curcumin-piperine combination in patients ischemic stroke rehabilitation stage. Methods In randomized controlled trial, 66 were into two groups receiving tablets (500 mg curcumin + 5 piperine) matched placebo for 12 weeks. High-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), carotid intima-media thickness (CIMT), thrombosis, total antioxidant capacity (TAC), lipid profile, anthropometric indices, blood pressure, quality life assessed before after intervention. Statistical data analysis done using SPSS22 software. Results A 56 mean age 59.80 ± 4.25 years completed trial. Based on ANCOVA test, adjusted baseline values, weeks resulted significant reductions serum levels hs-CRP ( p = 0.026), cholesterol (TC) 0.009), triglycerides (TG) 0.001), CIMT 0.002), weight P waist circumference 0.024), systolic diastolic pressure < increase TAC 0.001) comparison placebo. Gliomas are aggressive brain tumors with poor prognosis even after surgical removal and radio-chemotherapy, stressing the urgency to find alternative therapies. Several preclinical studies evaluating anticancer effect of curcumin in animal models glioma reported, but a systematic review meta-analysis these studies, considering different experimental conditions used, has not been made up this date. A search databases (Pubmed, Web Science, Scopus, SciELO) following PRISMA statement was conducted during November 2023 systematically identify articles assessing murine xenograft identified 15 articles, which were subdivided into 24 studies. Tumor volume before treatment or vehicle extracted efficacy evaluated by performing random effects data. Publication bias impact on assessed. Treatment decreased tumor volume. Comparing control groups, overall weighted standardized difference means −2.079 (95% CI: −2.816 −1.341; p-value < 0.001).
