Glioblastoma (GBM), the most aggressive and fatal brain malignancy, is largely driven by a subset of tumor cells known as cancer stem (CSCs). CSCs possess cell-like properties, including self-renewal, proliferation, differentiation, making them pivotal for initiation, invasion, metastasis, overall progression. The regulation primarily controlled transcription factors (TFs) which regulate expressions genes involved in maintaining stemness directing differentiation. This review aims to provide comprehensive overview role TFs regulating GBM. discussion encompasses definitions TFs, significance glioma (GSCs) GBM, how GSC transformation. potential developing TF-targeted therapies also explored, along with future research directions. By understanding GSCs we may uncover novel diagnostic therapeutic strategies against this devastating disease
