The
primary
objective
of
this
research
is
to
examine
the
relations
between
individualism-collectivism
and
communication
styles
among
students
attending
public
universities
in
Klang
Valley
region
Malaysia.
A
total
380
from
three
Malaysian
were
chosen
through
stratified
sampling
participate
study.
data
was
collected
using
a
self-administered
questionnaire.
findings
indicate
that
majority
respondents
exhibited
moderate
level
individualism
high
styles,
while
nearly
all
displayed
collectivist
orientation.
results
also
revealed
significant
correlations
such
as
impression
leaving,
argumentative,
attentive,
animated,
dramatic,
open,
dominant.
Meanwhile,
collectivism
showed
with
friendly,
relaxed,
dominant
styles.
From
study,
by
understanding
principles
vital
for
effective
communication,
these
cultural
orientations
significantly
shape
individuals'
expectations
interpretations
interactions.
Recognizing
perspectives
can
enhance
mutual
understanding,
minimize
miscommunication,
improve
overall
effectiveness
cross-cultural
dialogue
collaboration.

Unequal
access

ABSTRACTThis
mixed-methods
study
is
the
first
to
explore
association
between
fee-charging
private
supplementary
tutoring
(PT)
participation
and
access
higher
education
in
Kazakhstan
from
perspectives
of
Grade
11
students
during
COVID-19
pandemic.
Guided
by
work
Entrich
2018,
a
four-dimensional
model
educational
inequality
PT,
this
found
that
scale
PT
had
expanded
pandemic,
with
75.06%
(623
out
830)
participants
engaged
mainly
excel
university
entrance
examinations
gain
state
grant
at
their
preferred
Kazakhstan.
Also,
73.8%
spent
40,000
tenge
(US$88)
or
less
on
per
month.
Although
participants'
families
prioritized
boys
for
providing
services,

neither
agreed
nor
disagreed

Abstract
This
qualitative
study
explores
the
experiences
of
22
Grade
11
students,
aged
17–18,
studying
science
subjects
at
highly
selective
English
medium
instruction
(EMI)
schools.
The

voluntary

COVID-19
pandemic
has
had
substantial
and
persistent
impacts
on
pedagogical
methodologies
student
assessment
practices.
This
study
provides
an
overview
of
language
educators’
perceptions
the
post-pandemic
era,
synthesizing
factors
that
undermine
effectiveness
learning
in
online
face-to-face
classrooms.
Additionally,

into

opportunities

teaching
