Despite the growing emphasis on sustainable development, role of green finance in context G7 economies remains largely unexplored. The increasing financial transformation motivates this study to analyze influence natural resources (NARSs), population (POPS), education (EDCT), trade (TRD), and economic growth (ECNG) (GRF) G7. Using panel data from 1996 2021, employs Pooled Mean Group Autoregressive Distributed Lag (PMG-ARDL) methodology investigate both long-run short-run relationships among these variables. To address issue possible heterogeneity, uses Cross-Sectional (CS-ARDL). Before applying PMG-ARDL methodology, conducted a series pretests ensure reliability potential endogeneity issues. These included tests for cross-sectional dependence, slope homogeneity, variance inflation factor (VIF) analysis, Cross-sectionally Augmented Im-Pesaran-Shin (CIPS) unit root testing, Westerlund cointegration test. outcomes show positive relationship between NARS, ECNG, POPS, TRD, EDCT, GRF. Specifically, 1% increase EDCT leads corresponding GRF by 0.050%, 1.98%, 1.81%, 0.62%, 0.20%, respectively. This provides valuable policy recommendations countries, emphasizing need targeted strategies enhance through management resources, growth, education, trade.

Three decades after the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, world continues to grapple with intertwined challenges of environmental degradation and pursuit inclusive, sustainable economic growth. This study investigates three key aspects green growth: First, it examines whether global growth is converging or diverging across regions. Second, explores fundamental drivers regional differences growth, focusing on trade openness, CO2 emissions, transition renewable energy. Finally, delves into complex, nonlinear relationships between development sustainability. Using innovative methodologies such as PS club clustering log-t regression analysis, analyzes production-based productivity data from 134 countries spanning 1995 2022. Contrary conventional assumptions, results reveal significant divergence suggesting that different regions are experiencing varied levels success integrating goals. These findings highlight need for region-specific policies, emphasizing tailored strategies promote development. Policymakers should prioritize fostering accelerating energy transition, implementing stricter regulations, while also encouraging international collaboration bridge gap advanced developing economies.

ABSTRACT This study examines the impact of regional transition and multilateral cooperation mechanisms on green development (GD) climate change mitigation across 64 Belt Road Initiative (BRI) partner nations (21 Asia, 22 Europe, 21 Africa Middle East) from 2006 to 2021. Using advanced econometric methods like two‐step system GMM, 2SLS, dynamic fixed effect, cointegration, research reveals that significantly enhances GD, supporting sustainability action. However, specific factors within cooperation, such as trade, investment, institutional negatively affect GD resilience, while money finance show insignificant negative impacts. Infrastructure connectivity positively correlate with movement people has a positive but statistically effect. The varies regions. highlights BRI's substantial contribution both pre‐ post‐introduction spillover variables, emphasizing its role in promoting sustainable development, particularly Asia Europe. differential impacts East raise concerns about environmental effects large‐scale infrastructure investments. provides valuable insights into partnerships, change, offering theoretical practical evidence for futures. It underscores importance balancing economic regions vulnerable resource curse. findings contribute discourse global sustainability, policymakers evidence‐based strategies enhance adaptation through initiatives BRI.

Environmental sustainability and climate mitigation are global priorities requiring innovative policies that balance ecological conservation with socio-economic development. This study examines the interplay between Thailand's greenhouse gas emissions trading, community forestry, their combined impact on sustainable development through multiple regression analysis. Results reveal a paradox: renewable energy consumption negatively impacts forests, suggesting land-use competition policy misalignment. Increased R&D expenditure enhances showing transformative potential of targeted innovation. Income disparity undermines forestry efforts, highlighting need for inclusive addressing inequalities. The positive correlation CO2 extent questions efficacy current carbon offset initiatives. urges policymakers to adopt nuanced approach, aligning expansion disparities. These insights challenge conventional paradigms, advocating comprehensive frameworks achieve genuine effective mitigation.

We investigate the dynamic effect of external conflict risk on environmental transition by considering impacts eco-innovation, economic growth, and energy consumption in a panel comprising 26 European countries from 2011 to 2020.Using non-parametric model represented QARDL, we find that short run, 1% increase statistically leads 0.25% 0.13% likelihood for median extreme upper quantiles (50th 95th percentiles), respectively. However, same holds little importance when lower quantile (5th percentile). The indicated substantially decreases long reaching zero across different quantiles. We also note discrepancies impact various levels. For instance, population is significant 5th 90th quintiles.Overall, our findings suggest enhancing eco-innovation helps reduce risk. The results are relevant development policies provide valuable insights officials, technology stakeholders, policymakers their attempts strengthen resilience during an transition.

Abstract The study explains the time‐quantile‐frequency adjustments of green growth to energy vulnerability, uncertainties, and geopolitical risks (GPR) in United States (US). Novel insights with notable policy implications emerged following empirical analysis monthly data spanning 2000 m1–2022 m12. implemented Wavelet Quantile Correlation (WQC), Granger Causality, Rolling Windows Causality understand dynamics among variables. Evidence from WQC divulged time‐specific positive negative interactions between its determinants. Specifically, vulnerability dampened more profoundly immediate medium terms. However, long term, prospers amidst vulnerability. This outcome reflects some effectiveness that reduced effects for growth. uncertainties are similar profound damaging lower horizon distributions. GPR short run enhanced it but run. pleasant efficiency digitalization observed mostly run, growth‐reducing mainly
