ABSTRACT Sustainable challenges have become a priority for governments and businesses seeking to advance the decarbonization process. Within national energy strategies, renewable communities (RECs) are emerging as key mechanism achieving not only environmental economic goals—supported by incentive policies—but also social goals, they actively engage citizens, businesses, utility companies. The present study focused on role played citizens conducting analysis based an online survey across Italy, examining sustainable behaviors, habits, perceptions, dynamics of potential prosumers. results showed that there is widespread concern about climate change; yet, this accompanied adequate level information. In addition, respondents exhibited preference protective regulatory frameworks over full liberalization sector. Awareness RECs remains limited, with two‐thirds sample familiar concept. However, prior knowledge correlated greater inclination participate in such communities. Economic factors (including sale prices, purchase exchange prices) crucial shaping respondents' willingness RECs, sought equilibrium among these financial elements. Ultimately, component appears fundamental acceptance prosumerism, positioning viable pathway toward development.

Recently, governmental subsidies have led to increased renewable energy adoption and household CO2 emissions reduction. However, efficiency improvement greenhouse gas emission reduction potential in households’ sector are not yet fully realized. Decision-making by individuals is also a crucial factor adopting energy-efficient technologies, which why this study analyses some important behavioral change-linked issues. This focuses on various policies measures achieve improvements households, such as use of sources, renovation residential buildings, efficient appliances etc. The methodology the contains bibliometric analysis field at covering years publication 2010-2023 organizing all documents into 9 classifications. Among them 6 classifications been further considered: Citation analysis; Authors’ networks; High impact journals publishing; Knowledge mapping co-authorship collaboration among institutions; Co-authorship countries; Keywords concurrence analysis. Following systematic literature review findings reveal steady increase production showing pivotal role institutions developed industrialized economies. Moreover, there densely steadily growing network keywords reported, implying thematic expansion topic from modelling-pilot scales towards real world applications. Finally, identified research constraints that of: high costs, lack information knowledge, low priority environmental climate change mitigation concerns, resistance change.

With an emphasis on pilots in Spain and Portugal, this study examines the connection between Efficient, Sustainable, Inclusive Energy (ESIE) performance improvements, home renovations, tenant/owner behavior within framework of FORTESIE project (CBDC-powered Smart PerFORmance contracTs for Efficiency, Inclusive, Use). With the national emphasis on building energy efficiency planning, optimization in existing buildings requires renovation measures based multi-objective factors. In order to get optimal solution decision-making of renovation, study proposes a class improved grasshopper algorithms. The process employs systematic methodology identify an method, taking into account specific characteristics environment. It then classifies and formulates reduction substitution items for finally, it synchronizes cost project as measure decision-making. elite inverse strategy approach enhances algorithm facilitate associated with measures. results showed that could achieve decision accuracy 98.8% test samples, which was 5.5% higher than particle swarm algorithm. Repeated run tests research making yielded mean fitness value 2.34×104 data extreme 0.38×104. Compared other algorithms converged lower range values, indicated worked well model repeatability good. used decide efficient planning power consumption renovated supply system reduced by 23.7%-49.6%.
