ABSTRACT Effective natural resource management is essential for balancing economic growth with environmental sustainability, especially in resource‐intensive industries. This study addresses critical issues management, a particular focus on the mining industry. It incorporates digitalization and supply chain distribution within framework of circular economy to achieve mitigate land degradation, realize benefits. In response challenges posed by climate change, scarcity, has emerged as key objective, particularly sectors like mining. The primary research question aims identify criteria strategies that effectively support transition approach operations. To investigate this, employed fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (FAHP) method assess various sub‐criteria. Subsequently, technique order preference similarity ideal solution (FTOPSIS) was applied rank strategies, offering comprehensive analysis this decision‐making challenge. FAHP indicates efficiency most crucial criterion, followed digital integration top priorities. Additionally, FTOPSIS shows recovery systems, green logistics, product design fostering sector. These findings give important guidance policymakers industry leaders. They help creating sustainable specifically Through these stakeholders can both environmental, economic, social advantages.

Waste management is one of the key areas where circular models should be promoted, as it plays a crucial role in minimizing environmental impact and conserving resources. Effective material identification classification are essential for optimizing recycling processes selecting appropriate production equipment. Proper sorting materials enhances both efficiency sustainability systems. The proposed study explores potential using cost-effective strategy based on hyperspectral imaging (HSI) to classify space waste products, an emerging challenge management. Specifically, investigates use HSI sensors operating near-infrared range detect identify classification. Analyses focused textile plastic materials. results show promising further research, suggesting that approach capable effectively identifying classifying various categories predicted images achieve exceptional sensitivity specificity, ranging from 0.989 1.000 0.995 1.000, respectively. Using cost-effective, non-invasive technology could offer significant improvement over traditional methods classification, particularly challenging context operations. implications this work how enables development geared toward sustainable hence proper distinction they allow better recovery end-of-life management, ultimately contributing more efficient recycling, valorization, practices.

The rise in urbanisation and resource consumption has highlighted the urgent need for sustainable economic models. traditional linear economy, which relies heavily on non-renewable resources, exceeds Earth’s capacity poses significant sustainability challenges. As a result, there is an increasing necessity to transition towards circular economy (CE) as more alternative. Saudi Arabia, one of world’s largest economies, striving implement this shift due considerable environmental However, country currently lacks dedicated strategy, hinders its efforts address issues such waste management excessive consumption. As the construction sector is one of most carbon-intensive and resource-intensive industries, necessity for a transition from linear to circular economy widely acknowledged. Aimed at facilitating transition, several policy frameworks, operational tools assessment instruments have been developed in recent decades. Nevertheless, integration circularity remains constrained haphazard, frequently focusing solely on production phase neglecting comprehensive impacts within overall process. The detected gap between theoretical framework practical implementation reflected by limited coordination policies tools, which creates significant obstacle adoption consistent effective practices.
