environmental
economic
practices
in
developing
nations,
particularly
within

Consequently,
this
study's
primary
aim
was
identify
and
evaluate
major
aimed
at
facilitating
integration
these
country's

achieve
objective,
a
quantitative
approach
employed,
which
included
distribution
structured
questionnaire

Nigeria.

data
underwent
comprehensive
statistical

pressure

urban
systems

buildings
in
South
Africa

by
rapid
urbanization
climate
change
necessitates
innovative

Nature-based
Solutions
(NbSs),
to
address
environmental
societal
challenges.

study
aimed

the
dynamic
role
of
NbSs
shaping
sustainability

built
environment.

a
quantitative

data

collected
via
questionnaire
survey,
which
targeted
environment
professionals.

analysis

reliability
testing,
confirmatory
factor
analysis,
Spearman
rank
order
correlation.

green
roofs,
rainwater
harvesting,
cool
roofing
pavements,

walls,
have
received

attention

Abstract
The
significance
of
Nature‐Based
Solutions
(NBSs)
in
addressing
environmental
and
socioeconomic
challenges
is
widely
acknowledged,
yet
research
on
NBSs
continues
due
to
a
limited
understanding
their
full
benefits.
This
study
addresses
the
existing
gap
by
focusing
NBS
co‐benefit
valuation
through
digital
platforms.
These
platforms
support
assessing
effectiveness,
contributing
SDGs,
enabling
data
collection,
analysis,
stakeholder
engagement.
paper
identifies

quantification,
encompassing
public
health,
climate
change,
water
management,
air
quality,
biodiversity,
soil

these

Purpose
Develop

which
validated
by
engineering
program
directors
rated

its

an
