Water scarcity is a growing global challenge, requiring effective management strategies to ensure sustainable water use, particularly in regions like West Dorset, U.K., where rising prices and environmental pressures make consumption practices essential. This study develops empirically tests an integrated theoretical framework combining Prospect Theory (PT) Social Cognitive (SCT) examine the mechanisms driving household conservation. Using structural equation modelling on data from 429 residents Dorset (response rate 78.3%), we investigated how pricing (WP) perceived risk (PWR) influence through individual innovativeness (II) community engagement (CE), with regulations (ERs) as moderator. The results revealed significant positive effects of WP PWR innovativeness, which, turn, strongly predicted engagement. relationship between these factors was significantly moderated by ERs. makes three key contributions: Firstly, it validates PT-SCT conservation behavior. Secondly, identifies crucial mediating role II translating price perceptions into action; lastly, demonstrates regulatory frameworks can enhance or inhibit outcomes. These findings inform policy recommendations for tiered structures, community-based initiatives, adaptive frameworks. provides comprehensive model understanding promoting water-stressed worldwide.

ABSTRACT The connection between attitudes and sustainable behavior is important has been researched from several perspectives. However, we still lack comprehensive knowledge of the factors influencing their relationship. We address that gap by examining impact perceived prior on attitudes, intentions, behavior. sampled 464 participants Finland Sweden demonstrated positive significantly predict behavioral with personal moderating Prior also moderates relationship actual behavior, but does not. Additionally, while do not directly intentions reliably forecast underscoring importance fostering for promoting practices.

ABSTRACT One of the main challenges that water companies face is to reduce carbon footprint in their transition neutrality. Past research assessing performance has mostly ignored heterogeneity among evaluated. To overcome this limitation, study employed a parametric metafrontier approach assess and compare sample English Welsh companies, embracing sewerage (WaSCs) water‐only (WoCs). This method allows for comparison these two types analyses impact environmental variables on performance. It was evidenced treatment complexity, source raw water, population density significantly influence companies. The average efficiency WaSCs 0.816, indicating marginally superior compared WoSCs, which had an 0.803. Regarding productivity between 2011 2020, WoSCs demonstrated annual improvement 2.9%, while showed decrease 4.2%. insights gained from are highly significant policymakers focused transitioning industry toward net‐zero emissions.

This study explores the residents' behavioral determinants of ecological conservation in rural tourism development, focusing on resident participation to promote sustainable development industry. By integrating Theory Planned Behavior (TPB) and Norm Activation Model (NAM), it examines roles subjective norm, responsibility attribution, environmental risk perception, human capital shaping behavior. Based data from 331 valid responses collected through a questionnaire survey, structural equation model (SEM) was performed using SPSS AMOS analyze The findings reveal that norm attribution significantly enhance protection intention, which subsequently boosts relationship between behavior is mediated by while perception positively moderates norm-behavior relationship. Additionally, intention-behavior Significant differences were found based gender age, with men women, as well different age groups, responding uniquely intention perception. To targeted policy recommendations put forward.

Background Sustainability in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) which engage heavily manufacturing provides them with an essential platform for implementing environmental strategy, is aimed at reducing damage promoting protection. This study aims to examine the impact of reduction resource use, greening processes products on strategy mediating role green employee behaviour. Methods Primary data gathered help questionnaires from employees SMEs developing countries, Pakistan. The research 211 participants by applying a pre-tested instrumental questionnaire structural equation modelling (SEM) analysis. Results results confirmed all direct effects, including behaviour strategies medium firms. Also, partial mediation effect behavior between strategy. Conclusion current clearly showed need programs infrastructures that support businesses SMEs. Companies’ implementation technologies allows take environmentally responsible stand become part movement toward sustainability. stresses importance conduct as mediator, central point being individual engaged aware subject willing participate friendly practices. Abstract Organizations use both tangible and intangible resources for their existence to achieve sustainable development goals. Organizational knowledge mainly comprises of tacit held by employees. It becomes more critical when the situations are unpredictable, example in rescue/disaster projects involving human lives at risk. Tacit utilization has been understudied particularly such environments bounded resource constraint sustainability issues. This qualitative research attempts fill this gap collecting data from workers a large public sector non‐profit rescue organization. The study reveals various individual level, group organizational community situational level factors, which impact properly execute emergency life threatening operations
