ABSTRACT Sustainable challenges have become a priority for governments and businesses seeking to advance the decarbonization process. Within national energy strategies, renewable communities (RECs) are emerging as key mechanism achieving not only environmental economic goals—supported by incentive policies—but also social goals, they actively engage citizens, businesses, utility companies. The present study focused on role played citizens conducting analysis based an online survey across Italy, examining sustainable behaviors, habits, perceptions, dynamics of potential prosumers. results showed that there is widespread concern about climate change; yet, this accompanied adequate level information. In addition, respondents exhibited preference protective regulatory frameworks over full liberalization sector. Awareness RECs remains limited, with two‐thirds sample familiar concept. However, prior knowledge correlated greater inclination participate in such communities. Economic factors (including sale prices, purchase exchange prices) crucial shaping respondents' willingness RECs, sought equilibrium among these financial elements. Ultimately, component appears fundamental acceptance prosumerism, positioning viable pathway toward development.

Supply chain diversification (SCD) is widely acknowledged as a crucial strategy for sustainable supply management. However, its influence on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance remains unclear. This study will explore the impact of SCD ESG uncover underlying mechanisms drawing structure–conduct–performance (SCP) paradigm. To achieve this, we employ multidimensional fixed effects model empirical analysis utilizing panel data from China’s A-share listed companies 2010 to 2023. The findings reveal that enhances performance. For large-scale enterprises or those engaged in highly competitive high-pollution industries labor-intensive capital-intensive sectors, well are located eastern central regions, positive relatively more pronounced. mechanism shows green innovation digital transformation act mediators through which drives improvements. Furthermore, environmental uncertainty (EU) positively moderates relationship between These insights provide guiding framework, rich theoretical depth practical significance, committed developing chains pursuing long-term outstanding within complex dynamic market environments.

Purpose Drawing upon the extended resource-based view (ERBV), this research aims to examine effects of supply chain diversification (SCD) on enterprise digital transformation (DT), focusing external perspective chain. Design/methodology/approach Leveraging panel data from Chinese A-share listed companies 2015 2022, employs multiple regression analysis empirically relationship between SCD and DT. Findings The results indicate that: (1) positively influences DT, a that persists even after rigorous endogenous serial robustness testing. (2) fosters DT by bolstering its absorption, innovation, adaptive capabilities. (3) Executive risk preferences Pilot Policies mediate Originality/value This provides novel empirical insights into underlying mechanism linking findings offer valuable guidance for enterprises seeking optimize management embrace while also informing policymakers strategies facilitate enhancement among enterprises.

Abstract Digital transformation (DT) is widely recognized as an essential driver for achieving the sustainable development goals (SDGs). However, empirical evidence regarding effect of DT on performance (SDP) mixed, and boundary conditions merit further investigation. Drawing upon organizational information processing theory, this research examines influence SDP, specifically focusing economic sustainability environmental social (E&S) sustainability. We also delve deep into moderating role top management team (TMT) faultlines (relationship‐related task‐related faultlines). This comprises analysis data collected from Chinese manufacturing firms spanning period 2012–2021. The results reveal that can positively affect E&S but negatively impact TMT play a dual in association, with relationship‐related exacerbating negative effects sustainability, enhancing positive impacts well mitigating digitalization paradox. In addition, our do not support notion moderate relationship between contributes to paradox faultline literature by highlighting distinct moderation mechanisms faultlines. These findings provide insights managers navigating subgroup dynamics better supporting success digital transformation.
