ABSTRACT Energy poverty remains a pressing challenge in South Asia, affecting economic development and social wellbeing. Addressing this issue requires combination of financial support effective governance. This study analyzes the role international for clean energy alleviating Asia. In addition, it examines how government effectiveness moderates relationship. collected data on five Asian economies from 1990 to 2021. We employed two different proxies poverty, namely access electricity fuel technology, obtain more robust outcomes. A Fully Modified Ordinary Least Squares (FMOLS) regression was used.
