Abstract Wearable epidermal electronics with non‐ or minimally‐invasive characteristics can collect, transduce, communicate, and interact accessible physicochemical health indicators on the skin. However, due to stratum corneum layer, rich information about body is buried under skin for example, in interstitial fluid. Microneedle patches are typically designed arrays of special microsized needles length within 1000 µm. Such potentially enable access sample biomolecules give therapeutical treatment painlessly transdermally. Integrating microneedle various allows highly efficient transdermal bioelectronics, showing their great promise biomedical healthcare applications. This comprehensive review summarizes highlights recent progress integrated bioelectronics based patches. The design criteria state‐of‐the‐art fabrication techniques such devices initially discussed. Next, different functions, including but not limited monitoring, drug delivery, treatment, highlighted detail. Finally, key issues associated current technologies future opportunities elaborated sort out state research, point potential bottlenecks, provide research directions.

Hormones are chemical messengers that regulate a wide range of physiological processes including metabolism, development, growth, reproduction and mood. The concentration hormones orchestrate the numerous bodily functions is very low (1 nM or less). Efforts have been made to develop highly sensitive tools detect them. This review represents critical comparison between different types nanoparticle-based electrochemical biosensors for detection various hormones, namely cortisol, sex (estradiol, progesterone, testosterone), insulin, thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) growth (GH). investigated each first divided on basis biological fluid tested their detection, successively transducer utilized in device (voltammetric impedimetric). Focus placed nanoparticles employed successive electrode modification developed order improve sensitivity specificity biosensor stability. Limit (LOD), linear range, reproducibility possibility regeneration continuous reuse also compared. addresses recent trends development wearable point-of-care testing clinical diagnostics useful endocrinology research, future perspectives regarding integration nanomaterials, microfluidics, near field communication (NFC) technology portable devices.
